Is their any difference in job opportunities and easy placements while pursuing MBBS from Government or private college???

Vineeth Wilson 17th Nov, 2020

Hey Aspirant,

First of all keep one thing in mind that all MBBS graduates are considered equal for any job at MBBS level. MBBS is not like engineering where campus placement take place and top colleges get preference (IITs,NITs,IIITs)

Now where can an MBBS graduate work?

1.PHC/CHC under NRHM - here candidates selected on basis of merit in some states and on the basis of walk-in-interview in other states. India is suffering from shortage of doctors, so MBBS graduate can easily get into PHC

2.Railway/PSU/UPSC- selected based on interview/exam. Here your knowledge decide your job not your college.

3.Indian Army- again selected based on interview.

4.Private hospital- here they can prefer top colleges graduates but still graduates with good clinical knowledge will be preferred.

5.NonPG JR in medical colleges- selected based on interview. Some colleges can prefer there graduates over other.

For higher study you have to give NEET PG where only your subject knowledge matter not your college. No doubt top colleges got better clinical exposure compared to private/small government colleges but still your clinical knowledge, determination, hardwork matters more than anything.

So a message for private medical college students, just work hard and make best utilisation of money you have expenditure on medical education.

Thanks

i got 16261 rank in ts eamcet my category is bc_d i was alloted in matrusri college cse should i take it ? is it a good college according to placements?

Tarreni Behera 14th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

You have earned a very high rank in the TS EAMCET entrance exam. At such a high rank of yours, there is no way that you can gain a seat in any of the government institutes if the state. Good Institutes of the state including all the government colleges provide admission to students who are the best rank holders in the state or have secured a rank atleast less than 4000. Even if you have BC-D Category reservation, still you needed to have a good quota rank to acquire a seat in any government Institute.

As far as Matrursi College of Engineering is concerned, it is a decent college as it is ranked well enough and demands a good rank in TS EAMCET for it's Admission particularly in IT and Computer Science Engineering department. You may earned the seat through your reservation.

If you want to know which colleges that you may get based in your TS EAMCET rank, all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-
