what should be the percentage of IT Students to get placements in this college.?

Tunir Sikdar 11th Oct, 2020

HI,

The common notion is that for getting a job you require good marks, but fortunately its not always true. Marks are just a threshold point to interviewer cabin rest all depends upon your interpersonal skills.

If you are able to maintain 65 to 70 % it will be good but you should have good knowledge your syllabus and of any technical languages like C, C++ OR JAVA.

Focus more on gaining practical knowledge.

Interviewers, don't generally bother for better marks.

NITIN KUMAR CHHABRA 10th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

It is true that in top NIts more or better companies came but every student have enough chances of getting placements in all most all Nits. It's totally depends on Your talent and that's what a company want. If you are talented and skilled enough then you might grab any company even if you are from lower colleges as you might know some examples too.

So stop thinking about what companies comes to your colleges and start working on your skills.

Good Luck for future!!

can I sit for placements in 4th year of dual degree from nit hamirpur.

Aarti singh 19th Nov, 2020
Hello aspirant
I'm sorry, but I'm unable to understand that how you can do dual degree at the same time abd alsl wants to sit in placement..
I think according to the rules, You can choose only one degree at the time, and wants to participate in placement in 4 yr.. If you are doing bacholer degree..
If by any chance you are doing dual degree, Maybe this can create a huge problem to your career and maybe it wilk cancel your degree..

Hope you find this information useful and helpful
Thankyou

which better 1) CSE in Varanasi 2) mathematics computing in Hyderabad iit including placements

Abhishek Roy 10th Oct, 2020

Overall both the IITs have their own share of advantages and disadvantages. Let me analyse your options.

If you want to pursue a Masters or Doctoral degree or perhaps want to move to the US or UK for Research purposes post Bachelors, I believe IIT BHU CSE is the best option. Many a times MnC graduates dont get admission at top US Universities including Stanford and Georgia in Computer Science and Engineering ,but they confuse and offer them admission in Pure Mathematics Departments. Overall besides India, MnC is not a very prevalent branch in any of the top foreign Institutions.

But, if your only target is securing a good placement.I believe MnC at IIT H has slightly better advantage to CSE IIT BHU. Being located near two of the top IT Hubs in India, Bengaluru and Hyderabad itself opens a sea of possibilities and opportunities in training and placements in fields of AI, Software and Machine Learning. Most of the Multinational Corporations like Apple, Microsoft and Google have their centres at one of the two IT Hubs.

The Infrastructure and Academia is another big advantage at IIT Hyderabad. Though only a little more than 10 years old, IIT Hyderabad has overtaken IIT BHU ,IIT Indore and IIT ISM Dhanbad to become the 8th Best IIT in India, next to the top 5 IITs and then IITR and IITG, perhaps due to its big locational advantage. After IITB, IITD and IITM , it is the only IIT to be located in a Metropolitan city.
