Yes,Malla Reddy college of engineering is a good college with better placements.

Placements: More than 60% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA. MBA in Pharma Biotech in PUMBA is a good college in terms of placements. Around 90% students got placed based on their performance in interview. Choose from statistics if you want to know different ways in which data can be used to draw a conclusion.  Choose operational Research only if you  are interested in  using of the assumption and using of numbers to run an organisation.

I would personally recommend you to join IIIT Kottayam cse as the other college's placements are not very great. Kurnool is also new and placements are not impressive and same for Dharwad and raichur . In new colleges cse is a better option.

IT generally focuses on the real world application of computer knowledge i.e. it is mostly focused on software part.

Computer Science as the name suggests is the Science behind computer application, it is more related to innovation rather than just application.

Even if you see the placements CSE has better placement records than IT but I'm not saying CSE is always better , it doesn't matter what branch you are from as long as you work hard, focus and innovate.

That is what the companies see in people and not the branch that you are from. Generally, CSE records are better because they have grown habitual to thinking in that way.
