Both of the mentioned Institutions have excellent facilities and importance in its own way. Now in term of NIRF Ranking Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, J alandhar has a ranking of 52nd whereas BIT Mesra is at 38 th position.

In term of placement BIT Mesra is pretty good. The training and placement cell of BIT Mesra works round the clock to secure excellent career opportunities for all students. Some of the well known companies like IBM, Infosys, KPMG etc visited the campus. The average package for engineering is 10 lacs per annum and the highest package offered to one student was of 40.63 LPA, which is extraordinary . For information technology branch some of the most influence company like Facebook, Google, Flipkart, Directi etc offered job a number of students with median 10 LPA package.

In in term of placement of NIT Jalandhar in electronics and communication engineering it is also not bad at all. As per previous year placement record almost 85% of students got placed in in very much well known companies with an average salary of 7.5 lacs per annum. In electronics and communication engineering the highest package offered in the last year was 39 lacs per annum. Well, MRCET is 100% better college then MREC . The placement Stats of MRCET can checked here ( https://mrcet.com/pdf/Schedule_of_Examinations/MRCET%20PLACED%20STUDENTS%202020%20PASS%20OUT%20512.pdf ) where most students got placed in very good companies including Amazon, and others and total of 512 students got placed while in MREC, few companies offer 7 to 8L PA ,and pick only hand full of skilled students. However, the average package is 3.5L PA. So, clearly the MRCET will be a very good choice over MREC...

It is a 2013 established you can say public- private(semi-government college).It has two stream only because it is not much time for opening college Computer science Engineering and Electronics and communication engineering is available.

Companies like  E-Commerce, Hi-Tech, Hospitality, and Health Care. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, TCS, IBM, HP, Swiggy, Grofers  comes in campus placement

It is rated as AAA+ for engineering. and ranking is not available because it has opened recently 2013.

Depends on which IIT you are talking about.

I will tell you  the placement stats for IIT Delhi and IIST Shibpur.

Starting with IIST Shibpur,usually if  you secure over 7.5 CGPA you are going to be placed in ISRO directly,however now depends on the vacancies created by ISRO.Other companies who visit IIST are Agnikul Cosmos Honeywell, and Airbus the average placement is around 9.14 LPA.

Coming to IIT Delhi average package is around 7 LPA and the highest CTC is around 30 LPA.Companies like  Honeywell,Boeing, Gulfstream, ISRO, Airbus, Hyundai Mobis are the companies that come for recruitment

Engineering has good placement opportunities through on-campus placement drives in PSG College of Technology.
