Kakatiya University is an average Engineering College. It has some good as well as bad elements thay I'll discuss below.

I am reviewing this college on the basis of the placements offered, infrastructure and fa culty especially for EEE branch :-

PLACEMENTS :- Placements offered in this course is less, about 30% of the students get hired. The top recruiting companies are GM Electrical, Power Tech , Infosys etc. The highest salary offered is 6-5.5 LPA and lowest is 2 LPA.

INFRASTRUCTURE :- Infrastructure is minimal. Wifi facilities are not provided to students. Classrooms are less in number, laboratories are not well equipped, library has books related to courses but not many books for competitive exams. There os no canteen. Hostel facilities are average.

FACULTY :- Some of the teachers are efficient. Not all teachers are helpful. There are few PhD qualified lecturers. You have to study and prepare yourself to become industry ready. The course curriculum is good and you have to put extra efforts.

The faculties and staff there are well experienced and highly cooperative. Also the placement status of the college is also good. Sri Venkateswara University,Tirupati is far better than jntu ananthapuramu on basis of placements and academics.But when coming to infrastructure and facilities jntu ananthapur is better than sv university.

If you are getting CSE in Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad and ECE in National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradeh, then in the view of placements Gokaraju Rangaraju is better than NIT AP as Gokaraju Rangaraju's average package is INR 3.80 Lakhs.

In the view of NIRF ranking and NAAC score also, Gokaraju Rangaraju is in the lead.

Also, the fee is slightly less at Gokaraju Rangaraju.

NRTI Vadodara is India's only dedicated university for transport technology and was established in 2018 by India's Ministry of Railways. The faculty at this institute come from prestigious institutes like IITs, IIMs etc.

As far as placements are concerned, the first batch hasn't passed out yet. Students also have the opportunity for project-based learning with Indian Railways. You can expect good placements here as it was mainly established to create a resource pool of top class professionals for the railway and transportation sector.

The placements are fine in Vardhaman engineering college Hyderabad for ECE branch the minimum placement is around 2.5 lakhs per annum and the average lies around 5 lakhs per annum the highest package lies around 14 lakhs per annum and about 30-40 companies come there for placements i will attach a link where you can see it for yourself

Considering your rank  in JEE Mains in general category and without the home state quota your chances of getting into VSSUT by opting CSE is pretty good.You have to register under OJEE to participate in the counseling process.

Coming to the placements the average package offered by on-campus placement is around 4 LPA which is not that high,as a matter of fact the highest package is offered to the CSE branch.I would suggest you to go through the college predictor link and go for other colleges in the state.
