Im getting a general rank of 729 in wbjee, and Im considered general category student, Im interested in cse branch , can you please help me choose best colleges in cse under wbjee as JU cse seats are already ruled out for me, based on good placements and internships opportunities?

Swarnabha Das 16th Sep, 2020

Dear aspirant

At first lots of congratulations for your brilliant result and wishes for your future life.

According to your rank JU CSE is next to impossible for you but you can easily get cse in any other wbjee college gurantee.

According to your opinion you should opt for IEM

You will definitely get that. If your dream is get admission in government colleges then you should go for KGEC . But overall IEM is the best choice based on placement.

But one reminder that you can get almost any department in JU other than CSE ,  IT , ECE based on your rank. But as your passion is in CSE then you go for JEE MAIN Counselling also.

You can predict your chances in any WBJEE college by our link

I have 50069 rank in UPSEE.Can i get into UIET KANPUR for matalurgical engineering in first round of counssling.I already filled in 2nd choice.?????? Is UIET KANPUR good for matalurgical engineering? regarding placements, package and future studies!???????? PLEASE HELP!??

Apoorva Mishra 25th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant you can go through the previous year cut off of UIET on https://www.careers360.com/colleges/university-institute-of-engineering-and-technology-csjmu-kanpur/cut-off?college_id=2488&exam_sub_exam_id=2330&gender_id=1&counselling_id=4201&category_of_admission_id=3&caste_id=2

As per 2019 56000 was the closing rank of the course so there is a chance of you bagging a seat in further rounds. Though the placements in UIET are not great but you can pursue post graduation from top institutions like IISC, IITs via gate and get a chance to work with Tata Steel, jindal stainless, vedanta, GE aviation etc which are top recruiters in this field. Also via Gate you can get an entry in to reputed PSUs like IOCL, SAIL, DRDO, BARC, BIS, NALCO etc. Also Tata Steel annually organizes its Assistant Engineer Trainee Exam, for recruiting the people asAssistant Managers/Assistant Engineers. Arcelor Mittal-Nippon Steel India and Tata Metaliks often conduct regular Off campus drives for Metallurgical Engineers.

All the best.

which is better cse in klu or cse in vr siddartha??interms of placements ??

harshitjh 25th Oct, 2020

Hello Karthik,

Hope you are doing well.

When we compare Klu and Vr siddartha then if we consider placement, fees structure and faculties then Vr siddartha is better than KLU.As in  CSE branch campus placement has a good scenario then the other factor when we consider such as fees structure and faculties then VR Siddartha is better than KLU as fees of KLU is also high.Hope this will help you to get a precised idea of both the colleges.

Hope this will help you!

All the best for your bright future!

which IITs has the best mtech placements percentage in CSE branch?

Vipul Chaudhary 15th Sep, 2020

Hi there!

Here I will give you the stats about the IIT Roorkee MTech CS Branch. Every student got placed with package of 10Lakhs per annum or above. Remember, 10Lakhs is for worst, who cant even write code properly.

Now, about few companies who offered really great package to MTech CSE guys.

Google - 1.2 Cr (USA) - 1

Flipkart - 40 Lakhs - 1

InMobi - 25 Lakhs - 1

Amazon - 25 Lakhs - 3

Intel - 22 Lakhs - 4

Zifi - 16 Lakhs - 2

Tejas - 15 Lakhs - 1

Practo - 14 Lakhs - 1

Microsoft - 12 Lakhs - 10

And many more…

So, if it’s MTech in CSE, from IIT Roorkee or any other IIT or NIT, please go for it without a thought. For other branches, if your are looking for good package thn IIT is not the way, go for IIM.

Hope this will help…

my friend got allotted seat in b.tech in digital techniques for degine and planning in jnafau Hyderabad isit a good college to study b.tech what are the placements in jnafau ? is this a good choose he is very passionate about his studies please answer

Siddhi Shenoy 25th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant,

According to the reviews given by students of JNAFAU in Hyderabad who pursued BTech in Digital Technique in Design and planning, the institute seems to be quite decent. The placement record is average. The highest salary package offered was Rs.25,000 per month. There are companies providing internships to the students of this institute. Infrastructure includes good lab facilities,  WiFi, Huge library and a small canteen. Faculty wise, are not so good in this college. It is mostly dependent on self study. The teachers solve doubts if any.

Overall, it is a decent college with average ratings.

how will be JNTU Karimnagar mechanical engineering faculty , placements

madhur 24th Oct, 2020
Hello aspirant ,
JNTU has been highly rated in mechanical branches either be it academics , infrastructure or facilities.
But it's the placement where the institution lags.
It has very less campus placements and highest package offered till date is still around 7 lpa.
But if you are passionate you can definitely get a good job in off campus placements.
Moreover mechanical branches has its benifts too line govt. Jobs or startups.
So best of luck for future.

I hope this helps
Regards
Madhur
