CIPET is quite a well known University for the course you mentioned. It is not too costly, the entrance exam can be cracked by average or mediocre students (it is not too difficult) and they also have good campus placement. Even if all the students don't get placed, 60-70% of them do. They charge a yearly fee of rupees 77,800 (which is quite reasonable when it comes to engineering colleges)

After the completion of your diploma In plastic engineering you can either pursue BE or BTech as there is no major difference in both the courses. Both relate to same! You can choose any ot them! Choose any one of either BE or BTech. It is all based on you!

Plastic engineering is a 4-year course.
The basic eligibility for the course is 10+2 from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects. The admission process is based upon the scores of an entrance exam.
You will be needed to sit for several entrance exams, conducted on any of national, State, Institute- level. After that, you will be required to appear for one or two rounds of personal counseling held in intervals. Based on the cumulative score, qualifying candidates are granted admission in the institute.
Some of such exams are - JEE, VITEEE, MHCET, BITSAT.

Hi. For IITJAM, candidate must have bachelor degree and should at at least 55% in bachelor's. You can also apply for GATE being a btech student.
Candidates in the final year can also apply for GATE.

Companies like Reliance, Bright Auto Plast, Renoyld, Shansco Multipack, Napco Group of Companies etc come for recruitment. Average package offered is 3-6 LPA and maximum package offered is 7-9 LPA.
