Political Science
Dear student,
At first the subject preferences depends upon the course or competitive exam you would be opting for. Be thorough with the subjects and syllabus that particular field requires.
As commerce is a totally different stream which is not quite familiar to students till 10th grade. Commerce in itself is a tough field and has a good scope in future.
If your are planning to pursue UPSC in future after 12th or you have great interest in political science then only it can be a good option to take pol. Science with commerce or else I would just recommend to go with either one of them so you dont face any kind of difficulty in your future. And you can focus only on the major areas of your field.
Hello aspirant,
Some have identified Plato (428/427-348/347bce), whose ideal of a stable republic still yields insights and metaphors, as the first political scientist, though most consider Aristotle (384-322bce), who introduced empirical observation into the study of politics, to be the disciplines, true founder.
The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy reveals that the field of political science is a social science that dates back 2,500 years to the works of Plato and Aristotle, who defined it as the study of the state and its interest in the greater good of its citizens.

Hello,
Yes you can take admission in BA political science if you have not given cuet because many colleges are providing alternatives for those students who did not appear for Cuet or missed their slots for exams. You can enroll into private colleges which fall outside CUET or you can opt for alternatives that universities provide such as the Delhi university’s open school of learning, Jamia Milia Islamia’s distance learning and many more.

R N Gilchrist or Robert Niven Gilchrist has written many books on Political Science.
Different scholars have different aspects of seeing a theory or subject. So, they define them differently.
RN Gilchrist defines political science as "Political Science deals with the general problems of the state and organization of the government" He states that Political Science is a study of state and government.
Other scholars and philosophers define it in different manner. For example Paul Janet defined it as "Political Science is that part of social science which treats of the foundations of the state and principles of government." Similarly, RG Gettell defined it as "a historical investigation of what the state have been, an analytical study of what the state is and a politico-ethical discussion of what the state should be."
Hope it helps.
All The Best!!
Hello Aspirant.
You have not mentioned the name of the college that you are enquiring about. Kindly mention the name of the college so that I can give you an overview of the faculty of political science and history over there.
All the best for your future.
No, this course is not related to your previous studies.
People who had previously taken management courses as part of their undergraduate degrees were eligible to enroll in the MSc in International Business programme. People who had studied finance, marketing, human resource management, etc. were in the class.
The course's objective was to train the students to lead effectively in global companies. Cross-cultural problems received a lot of attention in this.
