Heyy,
COEP pune, LPU Jalandhar, and VJTI mumbai provide a M.tech degree in construction management. IIT madras provides a M.tech degree in Building technology and construction management. If you are confused between two courses with similar names, I would advise you to check the brochure provided by the college you are looking for. You will get a detailed course structure and it will help you compare both the courses according to your preferences. If possible, you can also consider searching for colleges abroad in this field.

Hope you are doing well, now coming back the question
Project management is the process of leading the work of a team to achieve all project goals within the given constraints. This information is usually described in project documentation, created at the beginning of the development process. The primary constraints are scope , time, and budget .The secondary challenge is to optimize the allocation of necessary inputs and apply them to meet pre-defined objectives.

I wouldnt say Construction Management and Project Management are same, but they are comparable courses and support your Engineering Degree preferably in Construction/Civil Engineering with aspects of Management. The basic Difference is, after MBA in Project Management, you have wider scope and impetus regarding career prospects, be it PSUs, Mining & Metals Industry, Automobile Industry or Infrastructure & Energy Industry, whereas Construction Management limits your career scope to Civil/Construction/Infrastructure Sectors.
Well, you can definitely pursue architecture course after graduation if that is what you wish to do in future. Also you can get into Project Management as well but I suggest you should work hard in your own stream assuming you have not lost your interest in the field. Don't ever fall into false claims by anyone that such and such field is very good or you can make more money in a particular branch. Your passion must drive you. There are many engineers who go for MBA and excel in that field as well while some stick to their streams and do M.TECH instead. Many civil engineers grab government jobs as well and there are some who prefer becoming IT professionals rather than willing to go to "construction sites"!
So what I would suggest is follow your passion, choose a field in which you are most comfortable working.
Hope it Helps!
Best Wishes
Hi,
Well it might be good for you considering a lot of things. You need to see whether you want to opt for that subject or not. It is totally based on your interest whether you want to go for that subject or not. Also getting a degree from that college will be really beneficial academically and also will give you further better opportunities to work in future.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
