PSG College takes the admission through JEE Main & TNEA. TNEA counselling is conducted by Anna University every year for admission to undergraduate level engineering courses available at various engineering colleges of the state.

There is no entrance exam admissions are based on 12th class marks.

You can get admission through sports quota .While counselling you choose the college and ask them to put your name under sports quota.If the process is online you can fill it there.If you are eligible i.e national level player then ofcourse you will get the seat at the same time you must be eligible(like age issue,10th,12th marks issue) and satisfying all other criteria.

Sorry to say that there is B.Sc Nautical Science course available in PSG College of Technology. There are only 2 specializations in B.Sc they are Applied Science and Computer system and Design.

Indian martime university and Vels institute of science and technology are the top colleges for B.Sc Nautical science.

If you scored more than 40 or 45 in your gate exam,it will be sufficient to get place in PSG for civil engineering .

Recently my friend got placed through gate ,most ever seats were filled by first day and next day ..so it was based on TANCET score.

So if u score nearly 45 ,your seat will be reserve.
