2021 category wise cut off for some branches for the general category

  • Nuclear Medicine -5872
  • Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy-7411
  • General Medicine-8616
  • Paediatrics-10891
  • Emergency Medicine-15855
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology -14019
  • General Surgery -17083
  • Anesthesiology-23692

So, you need a rank of around 14k for OBG.

Branches expected according to rank

  • From 1 – 2.9k - Govt college- All departments
  • From 3k – 5k - Govt colleges - departments excluding Radio and Derma.
  • From 5k – 7.5k - Govt colleges- departments excluding Radio, Derma and Medicine.
  • From 7.5k – 9k - Govt colleges -branches excluding Radio, Derma, Medicine, Paedia, TB & Chest
  • Form 9k–11k-Govt - Surgery, Ophthal, ENT, Psychiatry, and Anaesthesia departments.
  • Private - departments excluding Radio and Derma in Karnataka
  • From 11k– 14k - Govt college- ENT, Psychiatry, Ophthal, Anaesthesia, Pathology

how to apply for PSG College of engineering and technology ?

Hi,

Eligible students can apply for TNEA by following the given steps for registration, with a fee of INR 500 (for general category) and INR 250 (for reserved category):

  • Visit the official website of TNEA and click on the “Online Registration” link.
  • Candidates need to first register by creating a login ID and password through an OTP verification.
  • After the registration, candidates can log in with their username and password.
  • Candidates will have to fill in personal details, academic qualifications, etc.
  • After filling the application form online, candidates can preview the details entered.
  • The application form should be submitted along with the fee and a printout should be taken for future reference.

How to register for TANCA Counseling?

  • Candidates have to register through online mode at the Web portal.
  • They must enter an active mobile number and email ID.
  • Enter relevant personal and educational details
  • Choose the save/submit button.
  • Preview the forms and make changes, if required.
  • Finally, click submit and save button to make an online fee payment.

Documents Required for TANCA Counselling

Candidates have to upload scanned images of the following given documents while registering for TANCA counseling:

  • Mark sheets of X, XII or Diploma (3 years) Certificate
  • Qualifying Degree certificate, provisional certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or Consolidated mark sheet.
  • Transfer certificate from the institution last studied
  • Valid GATE score card and TANCET hall ticket for GATE qualified category
  • Certificate of Disability
  • Nativity Certificate only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate. (if applicable)
  • Copy of identification certificate obtained from the HeadQuarters Tahsildar or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (For Srilankan Refugee candidates)
  • Experience Certificate (if applicable)

Which college is best for MBA(Finance), SSN school of management (chennai) or PSG Institute of management (Coimbatore)?

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing well ! Both the college are best in every aspect like infrastructure, faculty environment etc. It would be difficult for me to choose one of them ,it depends on you and your interest in which you want to go ,from may point of view ,both are best ,no large difference in two,if you take admission in any of them I can see your good future ,so a lots of wishes from my side .Give your best and work very hard!

Do we have to apply directly for PSG Institute of Management writing TANCET or do they come for counselling?

PSG Institute of Management Coimbatore (PSGIM) offers M.B.A full time, part-time, PGDM and Ph.D courses which are affiliated to Anna University , approved by AICTE , New Delhi.


You can apply to PSGIM through TANCET counselling process and also by directly applying to the University.


Admission Process in PSGIM :

The admission and selection process for the management program is based on:


  • Applicants performance in the entrance exam (MAT (Dec 2020 & Feb 2021)/ CAT/ ATMA / TANCET).
  • Group discussion.
