Whereas PSG institute of Management offers only MBA, PG diploma and Ph.D program. Both the Colleges offers MBA degree and the Entrance test is also same TANCET.

• The college is a private owned college and was eshtablished in the year 1951. The campus size is about 45 acres and has a faculty of 522 people.
• The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and has been acrredited 'A' grade by NAAC. The college is also ranked at 44th position among engineering colleges and at 37th position among MBA colleges by NIRF. 
• The college offers various courses like B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MBA , PGDM, BSc, MSc etc.
• The college has all the required facilities like boys and girsl hostel, gym, library, cafetria, wifi, medical/hospital, alumni association, guest room etc.

Both are good Colleges. You can choose any one of them . PSGIM: Placements: The placements here are good. The college always maintains nearly 95 to 100% placements every year. Decent packages are offered here. Marketing, Finance has the best placements when compared to HR and Operations departments. The average package here is 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good. 

Placements: The placement is very good, top companies like Colgate, Wildcraft, TCS, Zoho, Honeywell, CUB and Amazon visits for placement. The average CTC is around 5 lakhs per annum and top CTC from Amazon at 14 lakhs per annum. Each student can attend for more than one company. Last year placement is 97%, and 100% was the previous year. Placement and internship are taken care by student placement cell of our college.

Psgim do not have this facillity. Although you have hostel accomodating single occupancy and not sure about the air conditioner system. If air conditioner is utmost necessary you can very well opt for private hostels which are more in number around the college itself. You can choose according to your necessity.
