• Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of Graduation can apply.
• Masters in any discipline of science is also accepted.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 or possess a 10+3 years diploma certificate from the State Board of Technical Education are eligible. 
• Candidates with a valid GATE Score with qualifying marks in relevant discipline of Engineering /Technology, need not appear for TANCET.
• Candidates who have a valid GATE score with qualifying marks in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL), have to appear for TANCET 2019.

no both are different, the major difference is the exposure, PSG tech has numerous well established clubs, sports facilities , large convention hall where numerous international conferences and seminars are held periodically, NCC, NSS apart from high tech research labs!

Hostel facilities are also better and it is located in the prime area of city where  everything is availiable at a walkable distance.

compared to this psgim has none of these or at a very nascent stage. Its the exposure  that makes PSG, very attractive. ANybody can teach the same subject  in any college.

But in terms of placements both have same opportunities.

Hi Candidate! I hope you are talking about tancet exam and for MBA course. If you are talking about any other course then please do mention. Else, if we talk about mba, last year the cutoff marks for sc category student is 47.33. So if this cutoff decrease then may be you will get a chance to get a seat in PSG College. Else it is difficult for you to get a seat. But you can try for any other college. You will definitely get a good college.

Hi Candidate! Sorry to inform you that according to your marks it is difficult for you to get a seat in PSG College. Beacuse as per the last year trend, people of BC category have to secure above than 56.677 to get a seat in PSG College. So as per your marks you have low chance may be this year cutoff decrease but still there are almost no chance . Try to get another college. You will definitely get any other college.

With your score you can easily get into PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore as their cutoff lies somewhere near 30 for SC candidates but you may have less chances of getting into Thiagarajar school of Management, Madurai as their cutoff for SC category students is 36.

But you can check out these colleges also 

• Sona School of Management 
• PSNA college of Engineering and Technology 
• Galaxy Institute of Management and other private colleges

Rs 4.5-5 lakh for your entire course!

The tuition fee alone would come up to Rs 2.5 lakh. Apart from this there is a mandatory International trip fee of Rs 1 lakh. International trip fee might vary based on the destination chosen. Rs 1 lakh is for Malaysia/ Singapore. For US it would come up to Rs. 2.25 lakh.

TANCET fee in PSGIM is extremely economical for the quality of coaching and placements offered. MAT batch students end up paying about 10-11 lakh for the same kinda coaching and job offers.However the number of seats are limited and competition is high. PSGIM is the first college that gets filled in counselling.
