Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) issued notification for recruiting mechanical students based on GATE 2020 score for management trainee post.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) issued notification for recruiting Mechanical Engineering students based on GATE 2020 Scores for Officers post.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited

issued notification for recruiting Mechanical Engineering students for Officer. Post through GATE 2020.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) issued notification for recruiting mechanical students through GATE 2020 for Executive Trainees post.

IES is considered as one of the toughest examinations in India. It is due to the difficulty related to the examination and also the selection procedure. Thereare less number of posts and more number of aspirants for IES every year. Although IES is difficult, it can be achieved by proper plan and execution of result oriented study.

I also wanted to know if they recruit or not

Because I studied really very hard for gate examination

The PSU companies only mention the common departments such as Electronics and Communications Engg, Electrical Engg, Mechanical Engg, Chemical Engg, etc for recruitment but fail to acknowledge the other not so common departments such as Production/ Manufacturing Engg properly.

Do know that other than the common branches most PSUs also consider recruitment for other departments such as Production Engg or Manufacturing Engg through GATE scores.

Some of the PSUs which consider Manufacturing Engg for recruitment through GATE are:

ONGC, IOCL, BPL, BHEL, NMDC, Railways, ICF, etc.

You will not get any PSUs with this score. For PSUs your gate score will be more than 750 or under 500 rank.
