For KCET ranking, 50% of your board marks out of Physics + Chemistry + Maths is considered, i.e If you have scored 70+60+80 = 210/300 i.e 70%, then your 50% of board marks will be 70/2 =35%, Balance 50% is taken from your KCET marks of physics, chemistry

No it is not possible for one student to join in 2nd PUC directly . H.e has to complete the 10th standard examination after that he has to complete diploma course and then he will be eligible for admission in 2nd year of engineering course at all.
