Punjab
I am not sure of which college you're talking about but you've got pretty good scores in 12th boards and there is a high chance of getting admissions in many of the government colleges of India if they are taking admissions based on merit.
As for your good, i will suggest you to give CUET exam and by scoring good in that exam you can easily get admission in some of the top universities in India like Delhi University, BHU, Aligarh University , and many more.
Hello,
According to me, your decision between the two should mostly depend on your interests.
To determine your area of interest, you should learn about both subjects, speak with students who are already engaged in them to have a good understanding of both, and then choose one.
Now that you know how to accomplish your best in that topic, getting the best placement possible won't be too difficult for you.
NIT Jalandhar have better placement thab Guru nanak dev university.
Also you getting NIT tag which obiously have great value.
As per my opinion, NIT Jalandhar and now it's all upon your interest.
Thank You

there is no quota for single girl child but central technical universities asked during admission.
There are many universities in Punjab which have a single girl child quota. It was started in 2018 by Punjab technical education minister and industry minister. Some colleges provide 1% reservation for single girl children.
some colleges which provide this quota are:
1. Panjab University
2. Gurunanak College
3. Chandigarh University
4. Trinity College
There are many other colleges in Punjab which provide this quota. You check on the Government of Punjab website.
Dear aspirant
At your expected marks there is very hard to get you govt MBBS college in Punjab state counseling as there are only 4 medical College and cut off goes very high for this govt college.
In 2020 cut off marks for govt college for Gen category students was 585+ marks whereas in 2021 it decreased somewhat due to inclusion of one new college although it was 580+ marks.
So seeing your marks you have rare chances to get govt MBBS college.
Although you have good chances to get private medical colleges, if you are looking for that you can go for counseling.
