Is there any All India Quota Counselling for BPT..? What is the Procedure to take admission for BPT in other states like Punjab, Gujrat, Karnataka, Delhi etc. (iam belonging to Maharashtra)

Karishma Sawhney 17th Dec, 2021

Hello. NEET All India Counselling is only for courses such as MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, and BDS. To get into Bachelor of Physiotherapy course, you do not need to give NEET exam, it is solely on the basis of marks and percentage scored in Class 12 board exams. The candidate, however, should have biology, physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects with 50% and above combined percentage in the three subjects. For admission in colleges in states you mentioned, you need to apply in those colleges and give an entrance exam, if there is any.

For Delhi, you need to give Delhi University Entrance Test for BPT (DUET BPT) which is a 2 hour long online exam and KCET for colleges in Karnataka.

1. Colleges offering BPT in Punjab-

Punjabi University

LPU, Jalandhar

Khalsa College, Amritsar

Adesh University, Bathinda

Chandigarh University

2. Colleges offering BPT in Gujarat-

BITS Institute of Physiotherapy, Vadodara

Shri KK Sheth Physiotherapy College, Rajkot

Ahmedabad Institute of Medical Sciences

3. Colleges offering BPT in Delhi-

what is the mbbs fee in dayanand medical college Punjab obc category????

Karishma Sawhney 1st Jan, 2022

Hi.

In DMC Ludhiana, you can either apply for government quota or management quota. The fees is different for both, with 10% increment. For government seat, it is 4.4 lakhs and for a management seat it is 9 lakh, after the recent hike in fees. The hostel and mess fee is not included in this. The fees remains same, whether you belong to General category or an Obc.

I hope you are doing well . See,with a score of 377 getting a government medical seat in Punjab isn't possible despite you having an OBC category. In 2021,the cutoffs are expected to be somewhat similar to last year's cut-offs.

In 2020,the cutoff score for a government medical college was 543 and a closing AIR of 53915 for the OBC category in Punjab.
