220 score catgory sc punjab domicile. can i try all india qota admission in mbbs??

samruddhiphadatare01 3rd Nov, 2021

Hello,

You've qualified neet but for AIQ seats you need to score more.

So I would say NO!!!

The reason is the AIQ seat cutoff is much higher for MBBS it's like above 550 to 600 for government colleges. The private college cutoff is also above 500.

You can try state quota seats for private or management quota seats if you want MBBS.

You can also try for bams, bhms or other ayush courses in your state.

For predicting your college according to your neet score use the college predictor tool given below-

Hope it helps. Best of luck!!

What is government quota and management quota in punjab state mbbs counselling. Is fees for both gen and sc category same in both government and management quota. Is there any scholarship or fee waiver for sc students???

barmanakansha 14th Dec, 2021

Dear itzzkiara1,

Government quota are for those candidates who are eligible for Punjab NEET counselling. Management quota means you have to pay the total fees that is donation fees to the college but for merit students like if someone is selected through government quota, the government will pay fees to the college. But there is no difference once, you get admitted to the college.

In management quota there is no fee concession for SC students. So, everyone general and sc students has to pay the same fees.

Yes, there are various scholarships for sc medical students.

Here are some scholarships for sc students are-

1. ONGC scholarship

2. NTPC scholarship

3. Post Matric scholarship for sc students

sir / mam neet 2021 cutoff in punjab how many in persentage down from last year for gen cat.

pushpachoudhary7413 21st Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant
I hope that you are doing fine

This year's NEET result hasn't been declared yet  , neither the colleges has been alloted so there's no official cut off as of now.

As cut offs change every year and there are various aspects related to that like
1. No. of candidates
2. Demand for that particular college or university amongst the candidate
3. Level of exam
4. No. of seats etc.

But don't worry
you can checkout previous year cut offs in order to obtain more specific information

Hope it helps

Sir i am from Punjab. I got 7091 rank in sc category in jee mains so may i able to get NIT??

Tamaghna Das 20th Sep, 2021

Dear aspirant,

There are chances of you securing a rank in an NIT keeping your SC category rank in mind. Judging from previous years' cutoffs you can also opt for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute, also known as NIT Jalandhar, which would be the nearest for you. To check out which disciplines you can opt for, check out NIT Jalandhar's cutoffs for the last 5years here:

If you want to look for any other specific NIT, here is the list of category-wise cutoffs for all NITs across India for the academic year 2020-21:
