Yes ,Punjab university offers M.Tech. (Regular & Part Time) courses with mechanical department is equipped with excellent infrastructure and various state-of-the art laboratories. The laboratories possess latest equipment, instruments and software packages. Aesthetically designed academic area, cafeteria etc. in a clean and green ambience provide a very conducive environment for academics. The main strength of the department is the dedicated band of qualified faculty members, offering a harmonious blend of industrial and academic experience. Presently, there are 34 faculty members in the department, 7 Professors and 27 Assistant Professors along with well-trained technical and non-technical staff to assist them. The department boasts of its intellect with 14 doctorate faculty members. Punjabi University is NAAC 'A' grade accredited by the University Grants Commission .

Based on your ranking you can get admission under chandigarh University for B.tech in branches other than Computer Science. You can opt for ECE or Mechanical or any of the other branches. This is based on the previous years data available.

There are total 50 seats available in Panjab University, Chandigarh for B.A and B.Ed integrated course. Candidate must have passed 10+2 pass with 50% marks ( 45% for SC/ST candidates) from any recognized board to be eligible for this course. Panjab University Chandigarh was established in the year 1882. The University was initially started in Lahore but now got shifted to Chandigarh in 1965-1960. The University lies over an area of 550 acres. PUCHD is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
There are possiblities in branches like EEE, BIO TECH & MECHANICAL but you have to wait till the spot round.
IT & CSE is quite difficult but don't loose hope .

As of now there are some changes in earlier set schedule due to an enormous outbreak of Corona Virus, as per the latest schedule, application deadline for Punjab University PGCET 2020 has been extended till September 17th and Admit Card is scheduled to be released on October 1st.
Punjab University PGCET 2020 is now scheduled for October 10th and 11th, earlier it was scheduled on July 27th and 28th.
So just wait for the release of Admit card because when application process will be over then only admit cards will be released.
