I am from tamilnadu and I have completed 11th and 12th from a CBSE school in chennai,Tamilnadu will I be coming under state quota in amrita coimbatore Or not (because one of my friend said that as u are from cbse u would not come under state quota)

-a candidate needs to be a native of Tamil Nadu


Or


- should have studied in Tamil Nadu from class 6th to 12th.

As we go through previous year's (2019) cut-off then it shows that in 2019 the lowest cut-off marks was 528 for St John Medical College, Bangalore under 85% state quota for General category and we saw an increase of around 25-30 marks in institutional cut-offs in 2020.

Yes, you will still get benefits under the state quota. As per the norms students who have completed their secondary or senior secondary education from Delhi are eligible to fall under state quota. Moreover since you are a permanent citizen of Delhi, you can submit proofs like birth

With 88.66 Percentile in JEE Main, your Corresponding CRL with be anywhere around 120-130k with a SC Rank around 5k. With this Rank you may expect CSE at NITs of Northeast like Nagaland, Sikkim, Manipur as well as at many good IIITs like Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Surat and other newer IIITs.
