Hi, My son currently completed his 10th abroad and is interested to do medicine in India, and is currently doing his 11th in India, the eligibility criteria says 10+2 should be completed for the entrance exam, will my son be eligible under resident quota or non-resident quota. Thanks in advance

Hello,

This depends on whether he has indian citizenship or not.If  he has Indian citizenship then he will be eligible under resident quota otherwise he will have to enroll under non-resident quota.

Even if he is OCI certificate holder,he is going to be a non resident quota .

Hi .My queries regarding Tamilnadu pg counselling penalty .Under govt quota ,in first round ,no seats allotted for me but in second round ,thy alloted me seat .But i m not willing to join.if i wont report at stipulated time ,wat happens next or i must join or shall i pay penalty for not reporting?

Hello,

If you are not willing to join then you can reject it or upgrade it. You won't get penalized for that. You will pay penalty only when you have accepted the option and not willing to take admission.

if you have to accepted it then reject the college option

There is no management quota available in VIT.

There is one thing that the better the rank/marks you get , the less you will have to pay.

This year VIT has cancelled it's own exam VITEEE and is taking students on the basis of boards and JEE MAINS
