I can give you numerous reasons why you must study at LPU. Course content, faculty, state of the art facility, global acclaim, management together make an unbeatable structure that is taking LPU ahead.
International Exposure:
LPU has made a mark at the international level. LPU Is Ranked 2nd In India Only Three Indian Universities Made It To The Top 200 List Globally As Per Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021.
LPU has a dedicated Division of International affairs. LPU has ties with Multiple foreign Universities all over the world. Students can take the opportunity to opt for the Credit Transfer Program, Semester Exchange Program, Summer / Winter School Program. With this provision, students will get the opportunity of being educated with the advanced technologies of world-renowned Universities. With the huge diversity in campus, students also get the provision of cultural exchange.
Attendance: LPU is also very strict on the attendance of the students. 75% attendance is mandatory for the students at any cost. This is nothing but to make the students systematic & punctual in life.
Student’s Club: With the aim of all-round development of students, so that students would be getting emerged strongly in each & every domain of life, there are nearly 60 student organizations or clubs created by Lovely Professional University. With this initiative, students will never feel alone on campus.
Hostel: 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs, etc. Strict action used to be taken against the defaulters in case of non-adherence to such rules. Though there are many restrictions you can observe for the hostellers but believe me at the end of the day you will find it necessary for all your security and safety. These restrictions would make you learn how to lead your life in a controlled environment.
Faculty: LPU Professors are always beside the students for their well-being & enhancing their educational standard. Professors of LPU are very friendly & helpful with an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning. Students are also allocated with Academic & Industry mentors from Day 1 for guidance till the last academic semester.
Infrastructure: 1. LPU is a 600+ Acre campus with all advanced facilities & infrastructures (Hospital, Shopping Mall, Gym, Indoor Stadium, Post Office, Bank, Food Courts with International cuisines, Hostel Facility, etc.) 2. There are huge well-maintained open grounds for outdoor games. Lovely Professional University does have an Olympic Standard swimming pool within the campus inside the SHANTI DEVI MITTAL INDOOR STADIUM. The diving pool & warming up the pool are also adjacent to the Swimming Pool. LPU is also having the best trainers to train students rightly and with full safety & security. 3. Students can practice a variety of sports like Badminton, Basketball, Shooting, Boxing, or avail of the GYM facility.
Placement: Let me quote the placement scenario of the last session as I got to know from my alumni page of LPU. In terms of placement in 2020, it was tough for all to proceed further. It’s tough for a University that wants to promote its students to get excellent placement. It’s tough for the companies also to take decisions on the acquisition of excellent young talents. Thanks to the availability of advanced technologies, upgraded staff in LPU & since the students were well prepared by LPU to overcome any of the situations to achieve their final goal, Lovely Professional University managed to achieve an excellent placement record as always by securing more than 7000 job offers, internships, training for its students
If you are getting Computer Science and Engineering be it in BIT Mesra Off Campus' or at BIT Bangalore or wherever, take that over any other branch or institute.
Else BMSCE Mechanical seems a better option. BMSCE also has been experiencing good placements in last few years, with being located near Industrial and IT Hubs at Bangalore providing further impetus to training and placements.
For more information regarding BMSCE do follow the link below

Dear candidate,
As per considering previous years trends then you have tough chances of getting CSE in RVCE or MSRIT with this rank. The cutoff for cse in RVCE usually goes upto 900 whereas for MSRIT it goes upto 1145 in your category. But cutoff varies every year depending upon certain factors like no. of students, previous year trends, difficulty level, seat intake etc. So it is bit hard to predict the exactness of admission. However I am pretty sure that you can easily get any other branches in both colleges like you may have mechanical , chemical ,ece ,civil etc. Moroever if you want cse then you may grab a seat in following colleges:-

Hello Praneeth
Beyween IIIT vadodara and MSRIT Bangalore MSRIT BANGALORE is better in everything from syllabus to placement and facilities even it's fees is low so MSRIT is best.I will provide you a link where you can compare as many colleges as you want and get all the information needed by you and see the pros and cons of colleges according to yourself
hope this helps you
Hi Raj,
First of all, MSRIT and BMSCE Bangalore are the top engineering colleges in the region with great infrastructure, facilities, campus, faculty etc. It has a good reputation among top companies for placement.
You can proceed to software side, no matter which stream you take, provided you know programming languages like Python, Java, C++ etc, which you can learn easily through online courses or at training centres. Most companies hire non-CSE students if they have good knowledge about programming.
Electronics & Telecommunication engineering is definitely a good course to opt for. MSRIT has also a dedicated 4G/5G IoT centre and collaborations with major telecommunication companies in the industry. Placements are good for telecommunication students too.
Hope it helps. All the best!
Hey there!
Based on your ranking and considering you are not a Karnataka student you might not get Electronics and Communications or Information Science in RV, MSRIT and BMS. However you can get medical electronics and telecommunications in these colleges. The other top colleges where you'd get you preferred branch are as follows
1. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering for Computer Science, Information Science and Electronics and Communications
2. Bangalore Institute of Technology for Electronics and Communications
3. BMS Institute of Management and Technology for Computer Science, Information Science and Electronics and Communications
