Hey Ravishankar,
The Facilities of Chemical Engineering at MSRIT are excellent while coming to placements, for 2016 batch were average. Approx. 70-75 students were placed out of 115 in Chemical Engineering branch. Most of them chose non-core jobs over core chemical jobs. The highest package was 22 LPA (HUL) and the lowest was 5.5 LPA. Average package of my branch was approx. 8.5 LPA. The companies which have visited to my college were as follows: HUL, Snapdeal, Amazon, Reliance, Hindalco, Vedanta, Axtria, Futures First, KPMG, Ola Cabs, Bechtel, HPCL, Aspect Ratio, Novartis, Capgemini, Power2SME, Wipro, Cognizant, BORL and Nagarro. Roles offered were: Graduate Engineering Trainees, Software Developer, Management Trainees, Production Engineers, Sales, Marketing (as per the companies' profiles). In my branch, almost 50% of the students got intern on their own i.e. college was not involved. 50% of them got intern from the college. The highest stipend was of rupees 80000 per month offered by HUL.
All the best!
