my CRL rankings 55000 then my OBC rank is

Astha Jain 18th Jun, 2022

Hi,

Actually there is no exact formula through which you can calculate category rank from CRL rank because it may differ depending upon numerous factors like number of total candidates, total candidates from the OBC category and so on. But if we go through the analysis of CRL Vs OBC ranking for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the CRL rank mentioned by you in the question your OBC rank is expected to be in the range of  13000-14000, you can also check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

100000 rank what can I get.....

Astha Jain 18th Jun, 2022

Hi,

Kindly mention the exam in which you have secured the rank of 100000 for us to provide you with complete information about the colleges that you can get .

At a rank of 100000 it is not possible to get NITs, IIITs, BITS, or any regional college like VJTI. Based on previous trends, you can probably get seats in colleges  generally under the home-state quota in NITs like Jalandhar and Hamirpur but getting a good branch would be difficult.

My suggestion would be to crack BITSAT, VIT exam, and get into them. They are also very good. I know it is  considered that getting into a good government college is much better than getting into these private universities but you should not let anyone’s consideration bother you beacuse these colleges also provide excellent opportunities.

Hope this helps!

my rank is 37500 in VIEET , WILL I get CSE in maim campus

Anurag Khanna 9th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

As per the analysis of previous years cut-off data for VITEEE, you have almost no chances for CSE branch in any of the campuses of VIT but you have some chances in following campuses with mentioned branches :-

Vellore - Civil Engineering

Chennai - Civil Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Fashion Technology

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

You can check out the link given below for more details :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

will I get cse in vellore with 54000 rank?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 8th Jul, 2022

Hi

It's quite difficult to make prediction that whether you can cse or not because  cut off /closing rank   keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

  • *number of students that appeared in the VITEEE exam,

  • *toughness level of the VITEEE examination .

  • *Availability of seat for different branches etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then,

-----------------------) With  your mentioned rank, your chances of getting into CSE in VIT vellore is low.

For example,

In 2016, the closing rank in VIT Vellore for CSE was 7000.

But yes ,

You have some chances in VIT chennai for branches like :-

  • Fashion Technology

For VITEEE cut off  you can visit our page the link for the same is provided below :-

Can i get admission in engineering college with 51700 rankings in comedk ??

Sumedha Bhattacharya 9th Jul, 2022

Dear Student ,

It is difficult to predict the admission chances of any college as every year the cut off can change due to some unavoidable factors like :

  • Seat Availability
  • Difficulty level of questions
  • No of students appeared for the exam etc.

Well, as per previous years cut off trends , with your Comedk rank , you have very low chances to get any colleges through COMEDK rank. You need to score min 50K rank , to get admission in any B.Tech branch of any COMEDK score approved colleges , as per last year cut off details.

you may use this college predictor  for your reference :

hi my rank is general 13839 in cmat 2022 .what is my approximate percentage

Astha Jain 18th Jun, 2022

The CMAT 2022 percentile score denotes the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in the examination. Therefore the highest score taker of each session will get the same percentile in CMAT. The marks obtained in between the lowest and highest scores are also converted to appropriate CMAT percentiles.

Percentile scores are calculated up to 7 decimal places to avoid the bunching effect and reduce ties. The CMAT percentile score of a candidate is calculated as follows:

Total Percentile (TP1) = 100 x (No. of candidates who appeared from the session with raw score EQUAL TO or LESS than T1 score/ Total No. of candidates who appeared in the session)

Thus it depends on the number of students who sat for the exam.

For more information you can check out the link mentioned below:
