banking k liye reasoning ki preparation kaisa krni chahiye

Mohit Gupta 20th Jul, 2020

Hello Aspirant

Tips to cover banking reasoning:-

Never target to attempt all the questions asked. This will lose your accuracy and make you feel puzzled. Prefer to practice from Reasoning Best book for bank exam.

Pick the right question. Your ability to read the question and grasp the required information should be efficient. You should know which question to be solved and which one can be skipped for later.

Do the easy questions first. But do not waste much time finding the same. As only one question display on-screen in one time.

Do not feel panic. Be very calm and easy. Do not get nervous this will make it hard for you to solve even the easier question.

Keep a check on the time. While practicing Reasoning questions for PO Exam always pay attention to the time management.

Try to grasp Reasoning tricks to solve the questions within seconds. This will help you save your time.

Take the section-wise test. Taking Reasoning test will help you analyze your performance and a chance to work on your weak points.

Hope this information is helpful for you.

All the best

Assertion, A : CH2CICOOH is 100 times as strong as CH3COOH while CHC12COOH is still stronger. The CC13COOH is 10000 times stronger than ~H3COOH. Reasoning, R : Electron-withdrawing halogens strengthen the acids.

Mounika Sonti 29th Jun, 2020

Hello!!!

Hope you are doing great!!!

Both Assertion and Reason are correct and the reason is the correct explanation of Assertion.

More the electronegitivity of the halogens , more will be the acidity. So Acidity increases if number of halide ions increases.

Order of Acidity: CCL3COOH  > CHCl2COOH >CH2ClCOOH > CH3COOH

Hope it helps you!!!

Thank you!!!

I bought Arihant book for preparation of du b.el.ed entrance exam it has reasoning and general knowledge too but these two topics are not in syllabus , is there any syllabus change , I have to study them or not ? I am confused about it !

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 4th Jul, 2020

According to the official syllabus, DU B.El.Ed consists of 100 MCQs in English, Hindi, Social Sciences,Mathematics and Science upto Class 10. There is no General Knowledge and Reasoning topics in the Syllabus. So under English, go for Comprehension and Verbal Ability. If you have already brought the book, we would suggest you to first complete the Subjects and then may be a just a week before the exam, read through the reasoning and General Knowledge just in case if there are questions asked out of syllabus. But mostly they will not be because the official bulletin doesn't mention any Reasoning and General Knowledge as topics in the Entrance examination.

rehan18alam Student Expert 29th Apr, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

It will not take you years to get the decent score in the english, The first thing you must wave off is your fear that it will take too much time to learnt grammar. You have to make a plan a timetable and then you can achieve your goal in just a matter of months.

Following are the resources you must use:_

  • High School English Grammar and Composition by Wren & Martin.
  • Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis.
  • Objective General English by SP Bakshi (Arihant Publication)
  • Read articles daily from websites like aldaily.com (//aldaily.com) and keep a list of the words you find new there and note them down.

Follow these steps, and if you want you can use youtube for some lectures, or join some coaching if you find yourself too weak.

Thank you.
