You haven't mentioned the name of the exam, if this is anyway related to CUCET, then the paper pattern is divided into two sections:

Part A consists of 25 questions from Numerical Ability, English and General Knowledge

Part B consists of 75 questions from the respective subject which is geography in your case, you can access the syllabus at https://cucetexam.in/CUCET2020/Document/Syllabus/Syllabus_PGQP17.pdf

in jeemain paper2 is there both verbal and non verbal reasoning or only non verbal????

JEE MAINS PAPER 2 consists of only non-verbal reasoning in the Aptitude section. In JEE MAINS PAPER 2 around 50 questions of aptitude are asked carrying 200 marks. These are important topics for Aptitude preparation-

Yes, you can get.The books that you can refer to for JEE paper 2 are given below :

  • Architecture reference book by P.K.Mishra.

  • Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning book by R.S.Aggarwal.

  • Self study guide for B.Arch by Arihant publications.

Apart from that solve previous year question papers to get and idea and mindset of the questions.

No, there's no mathematical reasoning in COMEDK
Syllabus of COMEDK is Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for engineering aspirants while Physics, Chemistry & Biology for Medical aspirants.
Paper consist of 200 marks 50 for Physics, 50 for Chemistry & 100 for Maths/Biology.

Reasoning question demand logical approach of thinking to form any judgement. In competitive exams two types of reasoning questions come logical and analytical reasoning questions.

For example:-

Logical reasoning question---

Analytical reasoning question---

Hello,

Entrance test for admission to MA Integrated Social Science in University of Hyderabad will be conducted for 100 marks in MCQs format.

It has four section as mentioned below:

Part A consists of Social Studies and General Awareness
Part B consists of Language and Comprehension
Part C consists of Reasoning Ability
Part D consists of Quantitative Aptitude


Each section has 25 questions, each question carrying one mark.

First of all, there's no detailed syllabus provided for each section, when it comes to reasoning section you can prepare for topics such as Alphanumeric Series,Coding Decoding,Blood Relations,Ranking/Direction/Alphabet Test,Syllogism,Puzzle etc.

The best books for reasoning sections are  MK Pandey's Analytical Reasoning, or RK Agarwal Verbal and Nonverbal Reasoning.

Even if you don't have these books, there are various competitive exams sites where you'll find plenty of practice papers for reasoning section, it's better first you develop conceptual understanding of these topics and later on proceed towards practice. You can search the Internet or even watch YouTube videos for this.

You should go through previous year paper for which the link is provided below, it will make you acquaint with paper pattern, level of questions, topics and other relevant details for preparation of entrance test.
