I got 98 percentile can I get iiit Allahabad cse in obc reservation

sathwika 9th Mar, 2020

Hi mohan,

Based on category and resevations u may get seat in that college i mean to say iiit allahabad but u may or may not get cse branch in that college as its a top college so that chances are less compared to previous years cutoff marks and estimations as your having a reservation of  OBC so that u have some plus point to get chances are there but i cannot give u that complete  chances are there u may or may not get and to calculate the ranks and we can predict  ranks by using formula below

Percentile calculation- {(Maximum rank – Rank of the Candidate)* 100} / Maximum Rank.

Based on resevations and percentile u will get your rank.

So work hard for the coming exams and study well and score good marks in the exams  All the best  for your future i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

sir, I got 94.8324234 percentile in jee mains 2020 . Could u pls let me know whether i could get a CSE seat in south NITs with girls reservation .

Ankita parida 29th Jan, 2020
Hello dear,

Congrats for scoring well. your rank is around something 45k to 46k which means you will get NIT AP & your branch will be Mechanical not CS  nor EE.
But as you have qualified for Jee advance you must work hard for jee advance as there is also reservation for girls it would be your "+" point.
As a true friend, I would definitely suggest you start your preparation from today itself & stay focused solve 30 years jee advance & achieve some IIT.
Thanks, dear,
All the best.

i am obc christian kerala, did mbbs from karnataka, is the reservation is based on income ? if so do i have to provide non creamy certificate during karnataka counseling round 1 ?

MD Neshat Faizy 9th Mar, 2020
Hello Chaitara, For getting admission through OBC quota any where in the country you have to show your OBC certificate at the time of Counselling at the reporting centre.
For getting a OBC certificate you have to show your caste certificate to the officer whether your caste fall in the Other Backward Caste(OBC) and you have to show your family annual income certificate whether your family annual income is less than 8 lakh per annum or not means you are in non-creamy layer or not.
If you have any queries regarding this then you can ask in the comment section.

can I get any nit with 86 percentile and I have sc caste reservation

Sunil Kumar singh 28th Jan, 2020

Hi dear,

You have scored 86 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 121661. However your final rank will depend on number of student appear in April month exam. You can also calculate your rank as

Rank=(100-your percentile)×869010÷100

Your sc rank will be around 4k-5k. With this rank you will definitely get NITs. You can predict your college here

i got 78 percentile in jee mains January session 2020 can i get seat in iiit Basar, Telangana and iam belongs to reservation category (st)

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 8th Mar, 2020

hi,

see cutoff scores changes year to year and it depends on various factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc, iiits is one of the best institute after iits and nits, so at this score it has less chances for you to get iiits even for your category, now jee main april session exam is yet to held, and if  number of candidates increased this time, it will have effect on your current percentile, however you may also use careers360 college predictor tool to know about your probable colleges,

I got 98.85 percentile in Jee mains JAN in which nit I Would get a seat and I have Ews Reservation

Shubham Dhane 25th Jan, 2020
Hello,
Your expected rank will be around 9993 which is a pretty decent rank. You can calculate your expected rank for January session by the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100
869010 is the number of candidates appeared in January session.
In April session the number of candidates appear is assumed to be 1200000 so the formula will be
(100-your total percentile)*1200000/100.

So now by considering 2019 cut off trends you have chances of getting a seat in
  • NIT, Durgapur
  • NIT, Calicut
  • NIT, Agartala
  • NIT, Hamirpur
  • NIT, Meghalaya
  • NIT, Raipur
  • NIT, Arunachal Pradesh
  • NIT, Jamshedpur and other NITs.
However, cut off changes every year it may increase or decrease. You will also qualify to appear for JEE advanced. You can predict the colleges using our college predictor
