I got 91.65 percentile in jee mains 2020 I hv OBC reservation can I get seat in any of NITS if not can I get a good fee concession in any other top colleges

Ankita parida 29th Jan, 2020
Hello dear ,
As you belong to the OBC category you may get admission in some top NITs but your branch would be not a good one.
As you are eligible for jee advance you must work hard enough from today onwards by planning & get placed in some IIT.
Thanks
All the best.

i have score 90.49 percentile in jee mains but my board marks in pcm is not above 50% i have sc category reservation, can i get admission in nsit ?? as per nsut criteria they required just pass in pcm ?? plz reply i am very much worried

mjaisinghani62 4th Mar, 2020

Hello Divyanshu

You have not mentioned your exact % you got in PCM.

As per eligibility criteria , ( for Engineering ) the minimum % required for the candidate in xii board PCM is 50 % required for general category and 45%  SC category.

If you have exact 45% in PCM , then also it works .

But below this % you won't be able to get admission to any institute whatever your marks be in JEE main .

Eligibility for NIT and IIT

• aggregate percentage , for general category aggregate percentage of  75% are required.

• for SC,/ St 65% aggregate are required for counselling and admission.

• 60% in PCM are required.

For CBSE candidate you must be in top 20 % percentile

It is Mandatory.

hello aspirant,.

nta have not released the jee mains paper  2 cutoff for this year. so you cannot actually predict the cutoff for this year, also there will be slight relaxation in the cutoff as the seats for the architecture and planning in certain nits have been increased. so you have chances to get admission in nits..moreover if you need any details regariding admission in any other colleges you can refer to the link given below..

i got 78% in jee mains (jan 2020) i hav sc category reservation. can i hav a chance to get into any NITs or IIITs ? please let me know about this, Thank you

Mihir Varshney 23rd Jan, 2020
Hello Dear You scored well in the paper.
Its difficult to predict actual rank or JEE advanced qualify marks. you may calculate your expected rank by this formula

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage  of people ahead of you. 869010 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100

Its difficult to tell exact qualifying marks for jee advanced eligibility but if you are getting more than 85 percentile score then you have decent chances to qualify for jee advanced
You can have a look to college predictor , it will be helpful to you in finding your college.

Wish for your bright future.https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

I got 59% in jee mains paper 2 ...is it a good score or not? i hav SC reservation... can i get into any NIT by this percentile? can you please inform me about it

Shubham Dhane 23rd Jan, 2020

Hello,

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage  of people ahead of you. 112679 are the number of candidates appeared for January exam.

So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 112679 /100.

If we use this formula you will get your expected rank will be 46198 with this rank and previous year cutoffs you cannot get into any NITs.

my neet pg 2020 rank is 2026 ..can i get md radio diagnosis in madras medical college...i have sc reservation .amd my category rank is 34

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 3rd Mar, 2020

Going by previous All India cut offs and your rank, you may decent chances in branches like Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, General Medicine, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pulmonary Medicine, General Surgery, Pharmacology, Opthamology, ENT and Forensic Medicine. Radiology is tad difficult with this rank. You may get a seat in Stanley Medical College because in 2019, the closing rank for Radiology in Stanley was 3875. Having said that, this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, difficulty of the exam, and no.of seats available for each specialisation. Please try our College predictor to check the possibility of other specialisations with you rank across India:  https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-pg-all-india-college-predictor

I have filled general category in jee main application form can i get ews reservation by showing the required ews documents during counseling?

Sujatha Venkat 22nd Jan, 2020

Hello,

You can't get ews reservation by showing documents at the time of counselling. It is not in the hands of people who check your certificates during counselling. So,while applying for JEE main april give perfect details. And prepare well for the exam.
