It is useless to have reservation here , as at the time of war , the bullet want ask you your category before hitting you.

Without any reservation it will be almost impossible for you to get into chemical engineering or maybe any other engineering branch in NITs as your rank will be near 70000 which is too high for NITs for a general category student.

EWS reservation is for those Candidates who belong to General Category. So it is not for Maratha Category. If you belong to Maratha Category, you can avail SEBC reservation. But to avail the benefits of EWS reservation, you have to be a general category candidate. But Maratha Community comes under

Suji, Latin Catholics fall under OBC Category. And OBC Category has 27% reservation both in All India Counselling and State Counsellings. If you are enquiring about Karnataka State Medical Counselling, Latin Catholics are eligible for 27% reservation under OBC Category.

Karnataka is a state which allows candidates from other states too to participate in the State counseling. It is an Open state and thus, you can definitely take part in the 85% state quota counseling. You can participate in the counselling by the virtue of having Hyderabad Karnataka

According to latest report, EWS reservation will be applied only to  the medical colleges other than AIIMS . Therefore, I do not think this year EWS reservation will be applicable in AIIMS medical colleges.
