But the reservation category of defence is only claimed by the son or daughter of that person who is serving or get retired, one also can claim this benefit who's father or mother are marty during any war. The widow of that personal can also get benefits if sshe is giving the Neet exam.

since  you have applied from general category you are not eligible for ews category. ews reservation is for those candidates who are in general category, have annual income less than of 8 lakhs, candidates family must not own more than 5 acres of agriculture land or The residential flat area should be below 1000 sq ft. you need to have valid certificate on behalf of ews, before applying as an ews candidate. right now your admission or counselling process will be based on your general category quota and rank.

Once you have made the ST certificate then it is valid in the whole country irrespective of the organisation who made the certificate.

And yes DTU provides reservation to SC category aspirants of other state and the % reservation available at DTU for ST Students  are 10 %

You have to get a percentile below 97 so that you get a satisfying rank to get an admission into medical colleges. Qualifying the cutoff doesn't makes candidates to get an admission. Reservation is kept is just to help candidates to get good colleges by decreasing the general rank for which the candidates are eligible for more colleges.

Outof 720 , a score below 600 is a safe zone which make sure that a candidate will get an admission. reservation won't help much if the general category mark and rank will be very high.
