Hello,
OBC or Other Backward Caste category is further divided into OBC- NCL ( Other Backward Caste Non Creamy Layer) and OBC - CL( Other Backward Caste - Creamy Layer).
Now The reservation benefits provided to OBC Category students is for OBC- NCL students and not OBC- CL students.
Hence it is advised since you can't claim reservation (•27% seats are reserved for OBC-NCL candidates only in colleges run by central government.)
benefits then you belong to Unreserved category and hence should go with General Category.
I hope you find the answer helpful.
Thank you.
Hey aspirant ,
I hope you doing great. No , there is not any type of reservation for NDA examination . NDA is just only reserved 100% for those who deserved it.
The academy doesn't believe in reserving the seats on the basis of caste , religion or any other reason but they do believe in reserving every single seat for those who deserve it. But only government allow 10% EWS category reservation.
To know more about NDA kindly refer this link :

Hi,
Hope you are well.
Yes, in Ailet seats are reserved for SC(outside Delhi too) and their percentage would be 15%.
As per the rules, 22%, 10%, 15%, 7.5% reservations are given to OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PWD, respectively in Ailet.
Thanks.
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that As per JEE rules Foreign Nationals who are planning to apply for IIT also have to take the same test as Indian citizens in JEE mains and advance. But unfortunately, there are no Reservations for PIO and OCI card holders even though Parents (if Indian Citizens) qualify.
However, for your OBC-NCL Category : You can get the reservation in your JEE mains and advance examination as a OBC-NCL category candidate. It comprises the category-wise percentage of JEE Main 2022 reservation and the conditions of eligibility that the candidates have to comply with. F or, Non-Creamy Layer of Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) the reservation percentage is 27% in JEE mains.

I hope that this will help.
Hello Aspirant,
See BC-E category has no reservation in NITs as it is a state level reservation provided in some states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana. But if your category is listed under central reservation list available on the official website of NCBC then you can choose your category accordingly. Otherwise your category would be considered as general/Unreserved for admission to NITs.
As we go through the latest cut-offs of 2021 then it shows that the closing CRL rank was around 35-40k for Mining Engineering branch in NIT Surathakal under Other state quota for general category female.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main score at least 130+ marks out of 300 and percentile against this should be around 97+.
