hii, how to claim the reservation in jee mains in case of a ward of a war widow ?

Sourav Sarkar 29th Nov, 2021

Dear Raghu,

NITs and many reputed institutions that have JEE MAINS rank as their entrance level requirement does not have any defence related reservations. Only SC, ST, PWDs are entitled to the benefits of reservation. But other than that there are some colleges like Army Engineering College which does have an quota for defence and selection depends on your JEE MAIN rank and percentile.

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 379 marks and taking into consideration that you belong Karnataka state and also you are from general category .

It depends upon certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs, and difficulty level of the paper.

im a Christian. I attended NATA exam and uploaded my score in keam 2021. but I didnt upload minority certificate for reservation. I want to know that whether this will affect my ranklist or admission??? please reply its urgent

DrTeeth 25th Sep, 2021

Hi, in order to be considered a minority or a student belonging to any category, you will need to submit all your documents at the time they are asked for.

If you fail to do so by any chance, you will be considered a considered a candidate of general category and hence you will be eligible only for the unreserved seats, and not the seats for any category. Your rank will then be according to that, and you will not be considered a minority.

However if you do get a correction window, you might be able to rectify this mistake.

Hi. I am from Telanagana. I got an AIR of 27353 and marks 582 In NEET 2021. I have a reservation of BCE . Any chances of me getting an MBBS seat in Osmania Medical College ? Please help!

ayanmukherjee045 3rd Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 27k rank in neet 2021 and taking into consideration that you have the benefit of reservation so let me tell for Osmania you have good chances to get a seat there.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs, and difficulty level of the paper.

Im a Delhi student who completed 12th in delhi and live in delhi . I have ST certificate of Himachal Pradesh. Am i eligible for JAC delhi ST delhi region reservation or i have to issue my ST card from Delhi (Central) Govt.? Can someone tell me can it be done or i cannot get the reservation

piyush singh 6th Dec, 2021

Dear Aspirant

The thing which you have to do is check if the caste which falls under ST category in Himachal Pradesh also falls under ST category in Delhi too, because some castes differ from state to state. Also there is a separate Central Delhi list for SC category, so it's very difficult to say that your caste would fall under that list.

So your best option is to get a SC Certificate from Delhi.

Hope this helps

which js better college between MRCW Hyderabad and MRIT Hyderabad by placements and college life?

Moumoyee Chakraborty 23rd Sep, 2021

Dear applicant, MRCW is a very renowned institution, which offers you amazing campus life, plenty good faculties and almost 90% of the students get placements with salary packages 4-6 LPA.

MRIT is also a good option but the former one is better than this one in terms of placements and the campus life is also really strict.

Good luck!!

hi ...my expected score is 300 out of 800 had ST reservation can i get DNB OBG ?

MANISHA ROKA 23rd Sep, 2021

Hey Anitha,

For Obstetrics and Gynaecology 50% AIQ DNB cutoff for ST category for the year 2020 and 2019 were as follows-

  • Year 2020- 319
  • Year 2019- 295

These results suggest that a score of 320+ marks would certainly get you a seat for 2021.

For predicting colleges based on your DNB CET score you can use this college predictor tool- https://medicine.careers360.com/dnb-cet-college-predictor Hope this helps.

Goodluck!
