I left engineering after 2 and half years to pursue BMS. How do state that in my resume.

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 15th Nov, 2019
Hello,
It's better not to mention in your resume. Why to mention anything which you haven't completed and it won't contribute to your career in anyway.
If any one for what you did for 2.5 years then you can say at that time that I pursued other but I left as I got this to pursue. Justify yourself why you did that in a sensible way such that it won't make a fool out of you because it is like if you had to left then why you joined and wasted your time which will bring bad impression.
So think Accordingly and write it in your resume.
Hope it helps!

Hello

This is a great idea. Internships give a value addition to your CV/resume.

The importance of internships is undeniable. They provide an opportunity to fill experience gaps, gain new professional skills. It is an investment in your professional future. Many types are available for students: summer internships in business, economics, writing, editing or any other field.

I am attaching a link where you can register yourself and you will be able to sign internships, they have work from home internships as well as full time internships.

Work from home internships will suit as you are a FY student with a hectic schedule, but at the end of the day its all upto you.

How can we increase the chances of selection as a pialot in a airline by our resume?

Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 23rd Aug, 2019

Hi Malhotra,

Since you are asking this question I presume you have already obtained your CPL( Commercial Pilot License), i.e. the license to fly commercial airliners. Now in order to make your CV better, there are only two factors to do that:

  • Specialization- This means that your CV and license should hold or state that you have flown varied kinds of aircraft like Turboprops, Piston aircraft, small size jets, medium size jets, narrow-body aircraft, and wide-body aircraft.
  • The number of flying hours that you have logged by physically flying an airplane and also log hours in solo or duo sorties. It also can be improved if your flying hours are done on passenger aircraft.

BEST WISHES!

Hi.I graduated on June 2017 and I will be joining company Wipro in October 2019.So will it be consider as 2 year gap in my CV?

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 21st Aug, 2019
Hello karan,

Firstly i would like to Congratulate you for joining wipro.. Secondly, coming to your question, as per the information provided by you, you have completed your graduation back in 2017 and from then till October 2019 you weren't working or enrolled in any educational institute for some course, therefore the time between 2017 and 2019 which is approximately 2 years will be considered as your gap year.. In case you hold some degree or certification to justify your gap years, then it won't be a problem..

Anyways all the best for your future endeavors.. Good luck..

What to mention as a core subject of electrical and electronic engineering in resume

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019
In resume you will mention that you has done graduation in EEE branch. You will include your skillsetm and project's. Your extra curricular activities. Your summer training and internships. This much will do. No need to keep more as you have to prepare your resume well. So just keep it simple and know what you have mentioned.
Hope it helps!
