Hello Vi , Both the colleges are quite similar in placement and fees both because the average package was 4 lakh at R.M.K. Engineering College and at Rajalakshmi Engineering College is about 3.3 average package so there is no huge difference so choose on the basis of place and all.

Both colleges are almost the same when we talk about placement. In terms of teaching , both have got well qualified staffs who are dynamic. In terms of exposure and extra curricular activities RCE tops the chart when compared with RMK.
In terms of food RMK will be better than RCE. In terms of dress code, communication, usage of mobile phones and laptops, REC is quite lenient when compared with RMK.

According to the previous year cut-off,I am sorry to inform that you will not get Rajalakshmi Engineering college but there are chances to get RMK Engineering College with Electronics and Communication Engineering.You may still apply for both the colleges in the online counselling.

Rajalakshmi Engineering College , Chennai accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC is an academic Engineering college. Yes it is good option because if we go through the placements of Rajalakshmi college then computer science ,Information technology and Electronics communication engineering three branches are holding the highest record of placement.
But in other end according last year record to around 80% students got placed from ECE ,IT ,CSE department. The highest package is 7lpa LPA, the lowest package is around 3.2LPA and average is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, cognizant, Zoho, Econ, Byjus, VVDN technologies, Soliton, KPIT, L&T Infotech ,TCS ,cognizant .You can also check most of recruiters are IT sectors so CSE ,IT and ECE aspirants are eligible for this company .Apart from that R.M.K. Engineering College (RMKEC) is a private engineering college at Kavaraipettai, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Tamil Nadu, India, governed by the Lakshmikanthammal Educational Trust.
