If i get 100 marks in comedk exam. Can i take admission in rv college of engineering with machenical branch?

Kumari Ankita 11th May, 2019

Hello,

In year 2018, rank based on 100 marks obtained in COMEDK was around 10k to 12k. Well, in previous years, rank based on 100 marks were comparatively lesser than that. Previous year cutoff rank for Mechanical engineering at RV College of Engineering for a candidate from General Merit list was around 2111 whereas before that it was around the rank of 1061. From here, you can see that cutoffs vary and marks vs rank also vary. They vary based on the factors like number of students taking the test, number of seats available, difficulty level of paper etc.

All the best!

Which college should I prefer- srm Chennai, vit Vellore,rv college of engineering Bangalore and ramaiyah Bangalore for engineering

Dheeraj Pramod Naik 12th May, 2019
Hi Harsh,
Hope you are doing well. Based on the facilities provided and campus placement, the first priority according to me is the VIT Vellore. They have a great faculty members and placement records. Even the facilities provided to the students are also great. The second college which I would like to suggest is SRM Chennai. Even this college has a good name throughout India. Even it is a Deemed University like VIT Vellore. In Karnataka, R V College is considered as the famous college and stands in first position in Karnataka. Following RV, Ramaiah Institute Of Technology stands in second position in Karnataka. So I would suggest you that if you have a chance then surely go for VIT Vellore. I hope you understand after reading this answer.

All the best for your future.
