Rashtriya Vidyalaya of Engineering is located in Bangalore and was established in 1963
It has 11 department of engineering architecture
It has 56 acre campus and is 13 km from Bangalore at Mysore road
Students pursuing studies here are called Rvites
The campus life is good here
Many sports meet are organised at University level
Games like Cricket Football Basketball Badminton etc are a common sight at University level competitions
It has collaboration with many institutions all over the world so exchange problems keep the positive vibe in the campus
Here some technical clubs are active that are supported by corporate or government agencies like
ISRO and SAE
But the most happening event is it's annual festival 8 mile which is like a cherry on the cake

Hi Deepan, hope you are doing well, yes tech companies like Google, Facebook visit RVCE for placement. RVCE is one of the best colleges especially for cse and the average packagae is 8.75 lpa with100% placements. Even Microsoft, Amazon do visit the RVCE for placements.

Rv college of engineering does not ake admission through mains it takes admission through

KCET
COMEDK
MANAGEMENT QUOTA(DONATIONS)
THROUGH KCET THE ADMISSION IS DONE ON THE BASIS OF RANK OBTAINED ON KCET EXAM (ONLY FOR KARNATKA RESIDENTS)
BASIS OF COMEDK RANK ( FOR ALL INDIA STUDENTS)
BASIS OF DONATION ALSO THEY TAKE ADMISSIONS.
For students studying under kcet seat the tution fees is around 70000 .
For students studying under comedk quota tution fees is around 180000
For management quota students fees is around 220000.

In terms of placements, alumnis, infrastructure, sports, brand name, global recognition, job oppurtunities, academics, faculties, past and upcoming research projects, cultural activities, campus life

SRM stands at better position

But talking of fees RVCE is cheaper

RVCE has good reputation in state but if overall reputation is considered SRM without any doubt

Only pvt college to launch its nanosatellite , First dosa making machine by SRM KTR alumni is famous all over world, and many more achievements for mentioning which pages of quora will be filled

RVCE is comparable to other campuses of SRM but not the main campus

(Nothing is 100% perfect, but if u take complete use of resources of SRM in right direction ull forsure land up in a position ur aiming for)

To get CSE branch in RV college of engineering, Banglore you have to score almost more than 50% marks in COMEDK entrance exams.

I have predicted the above trend by taking past years cut-off trend into condiderations.

MCA : 1.42 lacs
M.Tech: 74.40 K
