There is no domicile wise criteria in RV College of Engineering because this is a private college as 45% seats are filled through KCET, 30% seats through COMED-K and rest 25% by management by all merits, basically you have three ways to reserve seat there in RVCE so you can check which one you are eligible for and accordingly you can apply.

 For doing MCA , mathematics is mandatory either in 12th or graduation. You are a commerce student (12th) and you have not studied mathematics in 12th but you will study mathematics in graduation if you choose BCA and would be eligible for doing MCA. The course emphasis on latest programming languages and tools to develop better and faster applications. BCA makes a base while MCA adds a specialized touch in the subjects studied in BCA.

Well , for RVCE the CSE average package is 16 LPA . I am only talking of computer science department here and the information has been procured from the official site of RVCE. The overall average package including all deparments is 8.79 LPA .

Therefore, placement- wise for the computer science department, RVCE is far better than 75 % NITs and IIITs and even the newly formed IITs.
