hello! my name is sai..... I got 72 Marks in ts emcet 2020 in agriculture stream and i belong to sc catogory can I get free seat ?????

Sharon Rose Student Expert 24th Oct, 2020

Hello,

It depends on your rank but you have mentioned your marks. Candidates securing rank below 10,000 in TS EAMCET will get free seat irrespective of their category. So, if your rank is in between 1-10,000 then you are eligible to get free seat if your rank is above 10,000 then you are not eligible to get free seat through TS EAMCET counselling.

Vishnu Sri sai Shankar got 15 rank with 100 percentile in JEE Mains. It means how many marks we expect ?

Sumna Sree 16th Oct, 2020

The criteria of percentile in JEE mains  was introduced in the year 2019 by NTA

If a person gets 100 percentile it means that he is the highest scorer of the examination and no body else has scored more than him.

We cannot definitely tell about the marks of the 100 percentiler but it means that he is the highest scorer of the exam.

Hope this helps you

Determine the probability density and probability current density for a plane wave sai = Ae to the power I (k Vector. r vector )

Subhrajit Mukherjee 12th Nov, 2020
  1. For probability density use the born approximation formulae (psi)*.(PSI)dv. This is your probability density and as you haven't given any limits then either you have to find it in unit volume or you have to left it in the differential form. For unit volume the answer will be A^2 and for dv=r^2 sin(theta) dr dtheta dfi , you get A^2 multiplied by dv.
  2. Now for the Probability current density , find (psi)* i.e., the complex conjugate of psi and substitute in the formulate of probability current. Take components of vec(r) & vec(k) in cartesian co-ordinate and the find the the value of grad(psi) and grad(psi)*. The probability current is given by : J= i.hcut/2m [ psi . grad(psi*)- psi*. grad(psi)]. Substituting the values you will get hcut (A^2/m) multiplied by  [k1+k2+k3] where k1 , k2 , k3 are the x , y ,z components of the vec(k).

I hope my answer helps you. Wish you all the very best for your future endeavors!

Going by previous years data, the chances of you securing a seat in various Colleges are as follows:

IIIT Pune
Tezpur University
UIET Chnadigarh
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University

NITs might be a tad difficult with this rank. Now this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year.Cut offs depend on various factors such as total no .of seats available, difficulty of the exam, previous year cut offs, no.of Candidates appearing for the exam and no.of Candidates applying for a course. Please use our College predictor for the complete list of Colleges that you may have a shot at: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
