Sardar Patel College of Engineering was officially started in 1962 and this was the idea of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Self-financed engineering courses were added to the institute in 1995. Affiliated to the University of Mumbai, the institute is one of the best engineering colleges in the country and has been providing high-quality education over the years. The institute offers BTech courses in subjects such as Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Information Technology.
