so with this result you will not be able to take admission in ECE branch.

According to the previous year cut-off trends it is possible that you could get Electronics Engineering branch in round 3 by Jee Mains score at Sardar Patel Institute Of Technology,Mumbai. You should give MHTCET exam also so that you can have have another chance for taking other branches by fetching good rank in MHTCET.

The cut-off trends vary each year so be positive and hopeful.

IT in SPIT because SPIT is an autonomous college where as DJS is under MU, hence SPIT is more efficient.

Sardar Patel Institute of technology Mumbai is a private college, takes the admission through MHT CET & JEE Main Entrance Exam. You can get admission but you will be eligible for All India Seats of the college. You can also apply for MHT CET but as you belong to the other state then Score of JEE(Main) Paper I shall be preferred over MHT-CET for the admission to B.E./B.Tech.

I guess there are not much disadvantages in that except extc is not much known course,  so very less companies prefer students of this course but many companies do visit there.And the disadvantage of choosing CSE at SPIT is that the fees is higher than VJTI .Also,  the academic schedule is exhausting,  so you will not get time for preparation for any thing else.

No you cannot take admission in Sardar Patel Institute of Technology based on 12 marks. You need to appear in MHCET exam after qualifying it you can take admission in SPIT. You can eligibility at http://www.spit.ac.in/admissions/
