I AM A STUDENT OF AP AND I WANT TO STUDY IN SPIT MUMBAI SO CAN I GET ADMISSION ON BASIS OF MY 12 MARKS

Shalini Parimal 8th Jul, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Sorry to tell you but you can't take admission into SPIT Mumbai on the basis of your 12th marks. The students have to qualify for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Exam to take undergraduate course. And a Non-Maharashtra candidate can also appear for MHT CET. So you can try giving MHT CET to take admission into SPIT.

For more information on eligibility and others for MHT CET refer the link below,

For more information and clarification on SPIT admission procedures refer the link below,

Hope this helps.

Best of Luck!!!

vjti extc ya spit extc which college i should to choose

NAVNEET PANDEY 9th Apr, 2021

Hello sanket,

In terms of placement - VJTI is better than SPIT,

In terms of extra curricular activities and opportunities both colleges are same they both provide you different opportunities, internships, they both have technical societies.

VJTI is one of the best college in Maharashtra, also it is one of the oldest engineering college in Asia.

If you want a very good environment, good placement and faculties like IIT, you can definitely go for VJTI.

I hope this helps,

Best of luck.

Is there female reservation in spit?? Through MHT CET exam..

darshita 31st Mar, 2021

Hello,

SPIT was launched as a self- financed State College. The college strives to produce graduate Engineers with global competency and social sensitivity.

There are two modes of application to Sardar Patel College of Technology:

  • Centralized Admission: 80% admission is through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).Therefore, the candidates are required to appear for MAHCET.
  • Institute Level Admission: 20% is the Institute level admission.

Now firstly talking about MAHCET Reservation :

  • 85% of the seats are reserved for the applicants from Maharashtra which is divided into 70% for HU and 15% for OHU.
  • For all the backward class categories: SC - 13%, ST- 7%, VJ/DT (NT-A)- 3%, NT-B- 2.50%, NT-C- 3.50%, NT-D- 2% and OBC-19% seats are reserved as per the guidelines given by Govt. of Maharashtra.
  • The candidates of J & K, there is 1 seat reserved in every Institution.
  • A provision for 15% reservation for Foreign Nationals/ PIO and  5 % of sanctioned intake for the wards of NRIs are also provided.
  • At the Institute level, 20% of seats are reserved.

So you see that there is no such thing as female reservation category.

Hope this helps!!!

Sohamsengupta8 30th Mar, 2021

Hello STudent

EXTC at DJ Sanghvi dwarkadas jivanlal Sanghvi College of Engineering which is situated in the year of 1994 at vile Parle Mumbai. It is an happy related college under the Mumbai University. It has the course of electronics and telecommunication engineering in which admission in education and learning is not so better. The faculties are not so up to date. There is little scope of research and development and further education. There is record of B.Ed training for students going abroad for MS in electronics and telecommunication. The placement is is not so helpful at an average rate of 20% the highest salary package is given 3 lacs per annum. The extra curricular activities scope is very low.

Jin sardar Patel Institute of Technology e electronics telecommunication engineering has a much better environment for learning and education.every year most of the students of be allowed electronics and telecommunication going for MS in abroad specially in US. The faculty are much devoted to  the learning  and teaching.  the They encourage student to learn more about the uptodation of the stream. There are facilities of research and development. Campusing is not  so hopeful is there.

So it is better to get admission in sardar Patel Institute of Technology for Indian tronics and telecommunication engineering courses.

Abhishek Roy 5th Feb, 2021

Yes, most of the Internships through SPIT Mumbai Placement Cell of the Institute at Technology, IT, Software or Industrial Organizations are paid. Even if you go for a Six Month Long Research Internship at Universities abroad or at Higher Technical Institutes in India like Top IITs and IISc Bangalore, you are usually paid a Stipend.
