Good Luck
Hello aspirant,
It is mostly assumed that this course is easy or that course will be hard. But to be honest, all courses are hard until and unless you go through the subjects carefully. In that case, if you compare CSE to Chemical Engineering, then yes, it's easy but only when if you're quite good at Mathematics and Computer programming languages. Talk about Chemical Engineering, yes it's difficult because all subjects are basically from Mathematics, Physics and Thermodynamics with derivations and all and hardly Chemistry play a role in here. But if you are thorough with the subjects, trust me on this, no course program will make you feel difficult. But it's up to you which course you want to pursue and in which subjects you are good with.
Hope, this information helps you.

Pune Institute of Computer Technology, is a private unaided engineering college is also good for Engineering course.
Lastly as compared to pict is better because of world class facilities and placement cell.
hope this helps!!
Sardar Patel Insititute of Technology is also a decent institute. But obviously, nothing cannot be compared to IITs and NITs. So to choose between the two things, your personal opinion and family support will matter more. If they are okay with the drop, and if you say to yourself to crack the JEEexam next year then you can surely go for it because nothing can beat the education quality, internship opportunities and high quality placements of IITs.
Now considering the other situation, if your family isnt supporting for taking a drop, then even SPT is a decent government college with decent enough placements specially in CS and IT branch. So you can surely take that too. Make sure you study the technical learning well there then surely you can get a decent company.
Kindly refer to the website below to know more about SPIT -
Best wishes. Thank you.
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology > Kj Somaiya (Sion) any day. The placements matter the most and Sardar Patel being a government institute has got much better placements than SK Somaiya Sion. So irrespective of the branch, go for SPIT, Mumbai thats my personal opinion. Try in KJSCE once if you need software branches (CSE and IT), its better than Sion Somaiya.

Hello, The average salary offered for Spit and KJ Somaiya are 8 lakhs and 10 lakhs per year respectively. While the highest package offered was 42 lakhs and 29 Lakhs respectively. All the fields now a days requires you to learn basic coding languages but If you are interested in working in exclusively computing techniques you can choose IT but if you want to deal with communication systems like towers, transistors alongside you can choose ECE. At the end only if you passionate in the field you shine in that.
