My son got 179 marks in MHCET. IF HE GETS ADMISSION IN ICT CHEMICAL AND ALSO GETS ADMISSION IN SPIT B.TECH COMPUTER SCIENCE OR IT. THEN WHERE SHOULD HE TAKE ADMISSION?

Abir Gayen 15th Nov, 2020

Hi,

Let me first tell you about both the colleges first.

ICT chemical has good placements records and one of the renowned colleges for chemical technology studies.Infrastructure is excellent with well equipped laboratories and classrooms are up to date with new age technology etc.Faculties are also good.It is a good college with quality education and decent placements rates above 90%.

SPIT B.Tech Computer Science:It is no doubt a good colleges and also comes under top 5 engineering college. It has wonderful placement of more than 95% and the infrastructure is top notch with modern facilities with average faculty and teachers. The placement cell for CSE ot IT in this college is extremely strong. So you can go for this college.

Now the choice of admission depends upon your son.He should pursue his dreams and follow his choice. As both these college has fantastic placements so no need to worry about jobs.He would get that in both colleges. But the most important thing is what subject he has interest in.If he wants to study chemical then go for ICT else go for CS in SPIT .

Hope it helps!!!

can i get SPIT, Mumbai.....as i got 87 mrks in mht cet 2020.... and Im SC girl...???

Heena GJ 10th Nov, 2020

Hi Drashti

Previous year's Cut off for Sardar Patel Institute of Technology:

General: 207 score

OBC: 207

SC/ST: 203

PWD: 203

So by observing the data, it is difficult to get seat even though you belong to SC category.

However you should keep trying in different colleges

Cut off varies every year depending upon no of seats available, difficulty level of exam, last year's trends and so on.

can i get spit, Mumbai....as i got 87 marks in mht cet2020...???

gauravvijayvargiya399 10th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

SPIT Mumbai is one the best engineering colleges in Maharashtra. As the result, it's cutoff marks are very high.Seeing your MHT CET exam marks, it's very difficult and tough for you to get admission into this college.

According to the official website of the college, for a general  or an OBC category candidate, it would need 150+ marks to get admission into this college and for SC and ST categories, they would need110+ marks and 60+ marks respectively.

You can visit their official website for more information and details.

Hope that helps. Good luck

Hello,

In SPIT, the chance of changing the branch from one to another is difficult. It can only be done if someone has left the seat vacant due to his or her failure in some subject. For more information on SPIT,  you can refer to the link given below :
