there is no perfect number to mention how many candidates appeared for the it is based on their norms how many people will be called for the interview and the qualification criteria is as under

1.the candidate should have minimum 60% of marks SSC or equalent 

2.candidate should pass 10+2 or equalent but the candidate shouid appear maths,physics and chemistry with an  average of 60% and also the candidate should appear maths, physics and chemistry in the entrance exam

NIT or National Institute of Technologys are the second most sought after colleges to pursue B.Tech from. There are hundred of aspirants wanting to pursue their engineering in NITs. Sathyabhama University, Chennai doesnt even come close. Faculty, curriculum, placements, etc are pretty ordinary. You should go for a NIT without any doubt.

Here I am giving you placement record of last five years in sathyabama University

In 2017-18 total of 1208 student registered for placement and out of that 902 got placement. The percentage of student placed was 74.05 . Average salary was 3.45 LPA.

In 2016-17 total of 1531 student registered for placement and out of that 1301 got placement. The percentage of student placed was 84.90 . Average salary was 3.30 LPA

In 2015-16 total of 1812 student registered for placement and out of that 1636 got placement. The percentage of student placed was 90.24 . Average salary was 3.30 LPA

In 2014-15 total of 1855 student registered for placement and out of that 1749 got placement. The percentage of student placed was 94.25. Average salary was 3.30 LPA

In 2013-14 total of 1662 student registered for placement and out of that 1478 got placement. The percentage of student placed was 88.92. Average salary was 3.30 LPA

• The faculties for both CS and ECE departments at Sathyabhama University are

        average . But it depends on your interest in which subjects you want 

        to be involved with for the long haul.

• In terms of placement , if you want to pursue a career in the 

        software industry , you can choose Computer Science . 

• If you want to pursue a career in core electronics , you can choose ECE. 

• It all depends on your area of interest and what field you are passionate about .

• Regarding placements at Sathyabhama , it is wiser to choose CS over ECE 

        due to larger number of IT companies visiting the campus for recruiting.

Eligible candidates can get the application form on payment of Rs. 650/- at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology Campus.

Application forms may also be obtained through post by sending a request letter (candidate’s mailing address should be mentioned clearly in capital letters with pincode number, mobile number and e-Mail ID) along with a demand draft for Rs. 650/- drawn in favour of SATHYABAMA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, payable at Chennai. As per the official, to take admission in Sathyabama University Chennai, the Entry requirement is A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 10+2+3 system with at least 60% in group subjects for MBA programme.
