Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai is a Christian Minority Institution established in 1956. It is a deemed-to-be University accredited with Grade ‘A’ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

According to rating wise it is really a good option for Btech.

According to placements wise approx 80% students get placed every year.

Avg packaged offred is approx 5-6 lacs per annum.

So in my opinion you an get your desired branch in Sathyabama University because you have achieve great results and belong to OBC category but the choice of college depends on various factors like cutoffs of colleges,seats available,stream selection and many more.you can check all the colleges available in your location on the careers 360 web page and can also compare various colleges on different parameters.but i think you might get your desired branch and college according to your results.

Here let me tell you a real situation. You will land into a seat in department of your choice of you score around 40%-50% of the score. It is not very strict to cutoffs and all. Yet keep an option ready of you don't get an admission. Stick to the last upto spot counselling. I'm sure you will get a desired seat if your marks are good.

The first year fees of Sathyabama University for B. Tech Computer Science Engineering is INR 50000/-. For second year, it is INR 15000/-, For third year, it is INR 15000/- and for fourth year, it is INR 20000/-

Hostel accommodation charges for non-ac room is INR 80000/- per year and for ac room it is INR 175000/- per year. Please note, hostel is available on first come first serve basis.

In India there is given much more importantly to religious activities and rites. In any Indian University , to follow rituals and religious tends college rules are never hindrences. In old times around 2010-2012, beard was not allowed to grow as a fashion trend in satyabhama University , only Muslims students were allowed for that. Now no one cares about attire and beard , hair styles.

Sikh students are allowed to keep kirpan and kangi, they wear kada also. These things are allowed in all universities .
