The common entrance examination for admissions is CAT, GATE, MAT, TANCET, XAT. As you are seeking admission in the Bachelor of Engineering program in Electronics and Communication, the Eligibility criteria is 10+2 passed with aggregate marks in Physics, chemistry  and mathematics. Admissions are done by TNEA Counselling process where students get shortlisted on merit basis on 10+2 percentages.

Is saveetha engineering college (chennai) good for engineering?

Dear leaner,

Good or bad which will be based on placement offers,the saveetha offers many options.it is the top 10 colleges for btech in Chennai.

It is a autonomous institution . eligibility for btech is 10+2 and tnea attempt .the fee structure is around 85,000 in 1st year

The college provides wifi facilities,labs , cafeteria as all colleges do ,and coming to placement in 2019 nearly 760 students got placed in huge companies,and 30% students got internship every year,so the college is good .

As per my knowledge saveetha engineering college is a pretty average college. If I ahd to consider job opportunities or rather placements ,then the median package of the college is 3.5L and majorly bulk hiring companies like tcs, wipro, cognizant, Accenture, Infosys comes for placements for non core and core. There are very less core companies which visits the campus.

You had failed in 12th in 2020 , so you have appeared as a private candidate in 2021 and your result is awaited. So,

You need to choose the code 1.

This is because ,

code   1 is for 12th board 2021 ( doesn't matter whether it's regular or private candidate) appearing students or have already appeared for 12th board 2021 examination but results are awaited i. e results are not declared yet.

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

--------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2021  examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

--------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English

--------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  with physics, chemistry, biology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology should also contain practical exam.

Saveetha engineering college is a private, autonomous college established in the year 2001 Chennai. It has AAA+ rating in Engineering and NAAC A accreditation. The average package in placements for BE/BTech and BArch is 3.6lakh and for ME/MTech average package is 3lakh.Also it provides 22 courses in BTech.

Sri Sairam engineering college is also a private college which provides 11 courses of BTech. It was established in the year 1995 in Chennai. It has an accreditation of NAAC A+. The placement packages provided in this college is around 4lakh for BTech and MTech as well.
