Yes, Amrita University does provide scholarships at the time of admissions and after admissions. Scholarships are awarded as a fee waiver for the first year, based on the rank scored in their entrance examination AEEE (90%, 75%, and 50% waiver). Candidate has to score minimum CGPA as per the university rules in order to earn the fee waiver in the subsequent years. The scholarship amount is reimbursed in September after the last date of admissions. The number of scholarship seats available in each campus varies.
Totally about 230 scholarships are given ( 10% of total seats). Scholarships range from : 25% , 50% and 90% of tuition fees. For ranks under 1000, students may get 90% scholarship. Upto 2000 , possibility for 50% scholarships . Upto 4000, possibility for 25% scholarships. Scholarships are evenly spread to all branches based on the quantum of intake. For example the popular branches like CSE and ECE, better ranking students shall opt for it and hence during counselling scholarships may be finished for even for ranks lesser than 1000. Not so popular branches such as aeronautical, scholarships may be available for even for ranking above 6000 also.

yes, IIT bombay has various scholarships, students belongs to reserve category like sc/st are waiver of tuition fees on b.tech course. so apart from this you may apply for financial assistance. it would depends on the your eligibility conditions and number of scholarships available in iits.
