Based on previous year's cut-offs it is difficult to get Food Science and Technology seat in good Colleges in Andhra Pradesh for your rank. You can try for Management quota seats as well if you won't get seat through counselling.

No it is not possible for a candidate to apply for admission in Banaras Hindu University for Master of Science Food Science and Technology course. The candidate who has done the mentioned below courses at undergraduate level can only apply for Master of Science Food Science and Technology course:

1. Bachelor of Science agriculture
2. Bachelor of Science Honours agriculture
3. Bachelor of Science life science or mathematics

5. Bachelor of Science in horticulture

If you can get seat then go for it or else go for M.Tech in Food Processing Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur because it has 30 seats for this course. As you know both the Institutions has the brand called IIT, so both of them are good at their academics and placements.
