The percentile which you have got is less when compared to average so it would be very difficult for you to get a seat.So you can give another attempt and score more marks and high percentile.you can check previous year cut off and rank you can get an idea about cut off of colleges.

What should be jee mains rank for admission in PICT pune

Kowshik mogali 28th Jan, 2019

Hello,

According to last year cutoff minimum marks require to get a seat in pict pune is 124.

But this may vary every year.marks vs rank may change every year and cutoff will change respectively.

For pict pune we should apply for it separately that means it's admission is not based on josaa counseling.

Good luck!

I have got 65.6867510 percentile is it good or bad for general category??

prithviraj deb barman 21st Jan, 2019

Hello,

In simple words your percentile score depends a lot on the performance of all the students appearing for the exam. Considering the competition, 65 percentile isn't great, but there's nothing to loose hope you'll get another chance. On a comparison basis a percentile of 95 can be compared to a rank of somewhere around 65k which is enough to clear the cutoff for jee advance but will not fetch you a seat NIT(general candidate). So a percentile of 97 and above has chances of getting an NIT or IIIT.

I think this would be helpful for you to gauge your performance.wish you all the best for your next exam.

Can I get Pune institute of computer technology with 92 marks in jee main .if not in which way I can get admission??

Priyanka Shahane 16th Jan, 2019
Hello,

As the cut off score of PICT is higher than 120 for all the branches available there you will not be eligible for this institute via CAP rounds.
Also there are no chances for category reservation if you belong to any of the reserved category as the all India seats do not offer any category based reservation.
However, if you want this college only then you can try for management quota where Institute has authority to select the students at their own.

Which is better for B.Tech -cse JMI new delhi or PICT PUNE???

PERIYA NAYAKI P 14th Nov, 2018

GUD MORNING sourav,

From my point of view,JMI is considered as one of the top govt.college which is best in CSE after NIT and IIT's and i heard that getting placement in Jamia is not so easy in these days.

and PICT is also be like JMI.i suggest you to go for JMI, then dont forget to thing about the important factor that is location of your residence

I am from bihar, please tell me according to previous years who much mark are need in jee main and mhtcet to take admission in pict Pune...

Rajeev Kumar Maurya 8th Sep, 2018

Hello Dhananjay,

To get admissions in PICT Pune, you would be required to have at least 50% marks in your class 12th with subjects Physics & Mathematics as compulsory and any of these Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subjects. 5% relaxation is given to the backward classes and candidates with physical disability.

Also, you would be required to secure non-zero postive marks in JEE Main Paper-I or MHT-CET examination. The candidates with JEE Main Paper-I score will be given the preference over the candidates who appeared in MHT-CET examination.

Please feel free to comment below for further assistance.
