Sonali Sahu Student Expert 7th Aug, 2019

Hello,

As far for verification is concerned there won't be any problem. If they had kept PINK Ration card as the eligibilty then that would be a problem. ask to the college admission section regarding it. They can help you out. Mostly these kind of document are used for verification.

Hope it helps!

What is MH-CET cutoff for SEBC category in 2018?

Aaa Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019

Hi Amey,

I would suggest you go through the last year cutoffs of all the rounds of CAP Process on the following link.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (General, Ladies, PWD, TFWS), category and also according to the home or other than home university.

Already first round is over. Now you can have a look at current vacant seats if any for your desired college and hence know the chances of getting it.

Best of Luck!

Aaa Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

Hello Rutik,

According to the last 2 years, the cutoff for Your category for CS at PICT is just above your percentage by a little margin. Stiil you can hope and fill it during option forms.

Coming to VIT, according to last 2 year the cutoff is just below your percentage i.e it is 87.9% for CS (second shift). So, you can hope to get a seat at VIT for CS.

Is pict pune or walchand coe sangli better for electronics branch

Anuj_1525372683 Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

Hi there

Pune Institute of Computer Technology Pune is a good option for electronics.

One of the major reason that attracts students and parents to this college is the excellent on-campus placement. On an average 80-85% of students get placed every year and companies like Rakuten come to our college and it's the highest paying company with the annual income being 30 LPA and hires as per their requirement. Other companies give annual income more than 5 LPA. The lowest package was 2.1LPA. There is a placement cell and the Training and Placement officer, Dr. S. Narkhede heads the cell. The training programmes are very helpful that guide students and help them a lot.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

What should I prefer for cse among following colleges?? MIT pune, PICT pune, Walchand Sangli, Sardar Patel Institute of Technology.

Aaa Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019

Hi Chetana,

All the colleges that you have mentioned are best for pursuing engineering.

Walchand is a Govt college whereas all others are private colleges.

So the fees for Walchand will be lesser as compared to others.

Location-wise, MIT, PICT, & SPIT are better. MIT has now become a private university and its fee is quite high, nevertheless, it has maintained its reputation.

PICT has only branches and is known for CS.

Both MIT & PICT are well established as compared to SPIT established in 2005.

All the Best!!

My daughters percentile is 94.88 in MH CET 2019 ,PCM group. Which college she can get for Computer science?

Aaa Student Expert 13th Jul, 2019

Hello Sir,

Definitely, your daughter will get a good college at this percentile. I think the first round is already over and if you are satisfied with the college allotted to you in the first round then it's fine. otherwise, you can have a look for cutoffs of the second round.

I would suggest you go through the last year cutoffs of all rounds of CAP Process on the following link.

Https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff (For all rounds)

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (General-G, L-Ladies, TFWS, etc), category

(Open, OBC, SC, ST, etc).

Best of Luck!

I have scored 86.88%in diploma in computer engineering ...can I get admission in PICT as DSE student...what is the cutt off??

rutikbhandwalkar777_9160161 Student Expert 12th Jul, 2019

Hello Anjali,

You scored good marks in Diploma in Computer Engineering. If you belong to OPEN/GENERAL Category then it is difficult to get admission in the Pune Institute of Computer Technology(PICT).

If you belong to Backward Class Category then yes there are some chances that you will get admission in PICT.

Cut-offs of PICT every year are above 90%.

Good Luck!

Hope it helps you.

For any further queries please feel free to comment.

Thank you.
