Yes. He can get for sure. There are 2 ways one can get admissions in Sastra. 70% admissions are done with the combination of your JEE mains rank and your 12th marks. In this you have no chance. But rest 30 % is filled with only your 12th marks. In

The main campus of Manipal, SRM both have got almost equal rating and reviews but the only drawback of Manipal is its quite expensive and after both of them you can consider SASTRA.

SASTRA is AAAA+ rated and it is a private university, AAAA+ means it 100% best in placements,faculty,facilities,and many more! Where CBIT is not rated as Sastra University

Hello, 982 is a good marks, You will get seat in sastra university in branches other than CSE, EEE ECE, IT . If you got good marks in JEE mains that may helps to you to get good rank in stream1. So overall you will definitely get seat in sastra
